Good day my brethren and friends. It’s my pleasure to come to you again with exciting news! Jesus is Lord and loves you with an everlasting love.
Over two thousand years ago a child was born in a stable wrapped in swaddling cloth and laid in a manger. He was the prophesied Messiah the King of the Jew and the Savior of the Gentiles. In him was the consummation of Yahweh’s plan of redemption. There were shepherds abiding in a field not far from Bethlehem when all of a sudden an angelic host appeared in the skies declaring the advent of a New Born King. O the joy of the heavens when Christ our Lord was born! The heavens rejoiced and sang songs of praise because salvation and good will toward men had arrived. He our Savior came in humility and lived to bring us life eternal. This is the good news of our lives and we must rejoice despite the prevailing circumstances around us. God has not forsaken his people by any means and Jesus has preceded us to heaven and sits on the right hand of power to intercede for his children. He has plans and purposes for his chosen vessels during these days in which we are surviving the attacks of the enemy. He is coming back not as a passive preacher but as a conquering King and righteousness is in his mouth and a swift sword is in his right hand to conquer all his enemies before he sets up his Kingdom among men to reign forever more.
Wow! 2020 has been an awesome years concerning the spectrum of the spiritual climate. We’ve seen an all-out knock down drag out fight for the sanctity our Nation this year. We’ve seen an attack by those in high places who’ve conceded their patronage for money to foreign powers thus selling out we the people. We’ve seen a Marxist Manifesto come bearing violence in the streets and declaring they have their own country within a major city in our United States of America. We’ve seen a virus weaponized for the purpose to attacking our Christian churches and religious institutions and small businesses which is a part of the American Dream. We’re seeing the virtual control of a people who are being duped by doctors who are more concerned about a dollar than the patients they see. We’ve seen Governors purposely sent people with the virus into communities such as nursing homes and literally thousands died because of those decisions. We’ve seen just how heartless some people are in politics and just how ignorant some people are that listen and believe them.
As Christians our duty is to pray and to speak the gospel in these troubling times. We are given a template in the bible about turning from our ways with repentance and crying out to the Lord for restoration in the land. God has called us to be Holy not haughty! Our bible teaches us that as the days wind down to the apocalypse people will surely get more and more wicked. Our resolution should be to walk in the Spirit discerning the times and to be wise in the things of the spirit. God is able to sustain us in these trying times if we abide in him. I am not prophesying; but I sense that we still have a reprieve as the children of God and a space of grace to work the works of God for a season however long that season may be. Brethren do not be overwhelmed but rejoice and be glad for the Word of the Lord has declared good things for his people; we shall overcome in life and in death! If we are willing and obedient we shall reign forever with our King! Selah
