Being popular or unpopular is no concern to me. What matters is getting it right. If you believe we are under the black horse now, at the time of the third seal, does that mean you do not see the events mentioned in Revelation as a 7 year period, but much longer? I am speaking of the events that begin in Revelation chapter 4 and continue till the thousand year reign of Christ. How did you come to your beliefs, and can you explain them, because I am not that familiar with them? Are they things you came to believe just from personal study, or because people that you respect teach this?
It didn't make sense to me that the Bible would say nothing about 2,000 years of events and then suddenly cram all of Revelation at the last minute. John said in Revelation 1:1 that the events "must happen soon" which I take literally. Furthermore, in Matthew 24 Jesus repeatedly says certain things will happen but the end is not yet. So it seems to me that there's a slow buildup across many centuries, not one big pop at the end.
Then I knew of one prophet who was saying at the time (late 90s) the red horse was already activated. He said the Lord told him that. It was the first I'd heard of anyone else who saw Revelation that way. Now, a few decades later, I've come across a handful of others who agree.
I've never heard it taught formally in any church. Never heard it from a famous preacher. Every time I mention it around "church people" they assume I don't know what I'm talking about. But, if I mention it to new Christians just learning the Bible, they say it makes perfect sense.
