Psa 118:24 (24) This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. We often times hear this verse in a song. But have you really studied what it is saying here? Have you studied what it says before hand, or before this verse? Yes every day is a day unto the Lord, and we should rejoice in him everyday, but is this verse referring to that? Or is it referring to something more specific? frienduff watchful John Cletus ohhello Tabitha3319 PG4Him Les 4hizglory37

The verse also seems to be in celebration of a day of war with Israel's enemies where God participates.

This Psalm is an example of a passage with an obvious and hidden meaning. The Psalmist is praising God for being his helper in times of distress, and there are also clear references to Christ's victory on the cross. Jesus is become the "head stone of the corner." It is speaking of not just the fact it is a day the Lord has made, but giving us reasons to rejoice in this day. God is with us, watching over us, always ready to help us overcome every enemy and obstacle.

Psa 118:21-24 (21) I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. (22) The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. (23) This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. (24) This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
So it talks about the stone which the builders refused, becoming the head of the corner.
And then it mentions that it is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in people's eyes.
So it speaks of something marvelous that would take place, which is the Lord's doing, and that what happened in this day, would be worthy of rejoicing and having gladness in it.
So when does the bible specifically refer to, when Jesus became the head stone of the corner?

Here are verses to think about: Act 4:7-12 (7) And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? (8) Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, (9) If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; (10) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. (11) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. (12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. John frienduff watchful ohhello tabitha3319 Cletus

There are 2 issues here, one about when Jesus the stone was rejected, and one of Jesus becoming the head of the corner.

Those who refuse Christ reject the Stone . And shall be ground to powder . Those who come to JESUS fall upon the stone and are broken . Their will becomes LET the WILL of GOD be done .

The Stone which the builders rejected
Mat 21:38-41 (38) But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. (39) And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. (40) When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? (41) They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
Now Jesus spoke this parable to the chief priests and pharisees.
And when they had answered Jesus about this parable, this is what Jesus replied:
Mat 21:42-45 (42) Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (43) Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (44) And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (45) And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
So in the parable, it spoke of the son being killed by the husbandmen, and of course it pointed to the death of Jesus on the cross, which speaks of the stone which the builders rejected.
And of course the chief priests and pharisees had rejected Jesus as Messiah, and proclaimed for him to be crucified.
So the crucifixion, or the cross, refers to the stone (Jesus), which the builders (pharisees, chief priests) rejected.
So the rejecting of the stone, brought the stone to the cross, and that is why Jesus gave such a reply, concerning a parable that shows the Son being killed, and associating it with the stone the builders rejected.
So that covers the Stone which the builders rejected, but what about the issue of Christ becoming the head stone of the corner?
Well let us go to the psalms scripture for just a bit:
Psa 118:21-24 (21) I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. (22) The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. (23) This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. (24) This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Now yes there was victory in the cross of Christ, but ultimately, what brought forth all things together?
So what took place that was so marvelous in people's eyes?
Was it his death, or something that had came about, as a result of his death?

We have the full answer, in the book of Acts:
Act 4:7-12 (7) And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
