How are you doing brother John? Wednesday was the first day I went without a fever. I have a lingering cough and shortness of breath, but most of the other symptoms are getting better. Thank you for your prayers.

You are continued to be prayed for. Full healing and quickly. I am sorry to hear your breathing has been affected. Praying that your cough and shortness of breath heals very soon. Keep focused on the Lord. As brother Frienduff says, the Lord is in control. You are dearly loved. Let’s also pray for brother Frienduff, who is also sick.

Except for the fever, I felt better after a few days and thought I would be back to work in less than a week, and then it came back worse. My fever kept going above 102 and I just slept all the time. I had no energy. I did lose my taste and smell for about 4 days. The only lingering symptoms I have now is a dry cough and fatigue. If you get it, just figure on needing bed rest for about 2 weeks. I hope you are feeling better soon frienduff , but if it lingers a couple of weeks, that is pretty typical.

Praying for you both. Try Vick's vaporub brothers....it has eucalyptis oil in it which has antiviral and antibacterial properties as well as anti-inflammatory properties...sounds like just the ticket for how the lungs react to Covid. I use it for mild asthma, but only just found out that specific information. (Don't let big Pharma or Fauci know though or they might try to get it off the market.) Just put some under your nostrils and breathe normally, or melt some in a bowl of boiling water and inhale the fumes (towel covering your head and the bowl delivers a more intense punch).

That sounds like good advice. I was mixing 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 2 cups of water and boiling it and inhaling it. It relieved my cough. It seems like the same principal.

Why cayenne pepper?

Why cayenne pepper? It is supposed to help clear your sinuses. The pepper is optional. I did not notice much difference with or without it.
