As We wait for the Blessed Hope it still seems hard to take the devastation that is gripping our world today>> After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. There fore encourage one another with these words.Your Thoughts!~

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord....forever, hallelujah.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”
We are not orphans but rather citizens of another Kingdom: Heaven. And when the time is ripe, Paul writes, our Savior “will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:20-21).
That is worth focusing on.

now become the European Union. His words are chillingly 'prophetic' regarding the current meltdown in the Eurozone. "We do not want another committee, we have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking.
Send us such a man, and be he god or devil, we will receive him."

What is hard to take is watching the mass of christendom tank to a table of false love and false unity with the harlot . That is unbearable to watch . And the numbers going under it are increasing now like troops at the harlots door . its getting bad . We better pray that not a one of us sits at the great table of compromise for unity with a harlot .

That is why the world hates you.” We are not orphans but rather citizens of another Kingdom: Heaven. And when the time is ripe, Paul writes, our Savior “will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:20-21). That is worth focusing on. Amen, bodies that will never die and that inhabit the heavenly realm with Jesus. But people have gotten hold of the "rapture" event with their imaginations. I’ll try to explain why I said the blessed hope is eternal life (with Jesus). Take note of what the CONTEXT is of those passages about the rapture in 1 Thess. 4/5: 1Th 4:13-14
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
We’ve made the blessed hope all about a few who think they will escape having to die when Jesus comes, when actually it’s more about those who have already died in the Lord being resurrected to eternal life......those who are alive and remain at the coming of the Lord are sort of secondary, they will be far fewer than all those Christians who died in the Lord before them down through the ages. The scripture even goes on to take the trouble to point out that those who are alive and remain will not be resurrected first. In a manner of speaking, saying that that’s how safe the dead in Christ are. “Wherefore comfort one another with those words” is because of being reassured that those loved ones who have died in the Lord will be raised to eternal life, and being comforted and reassured the same way ourselves when facing our own death. And those that think being raptured means escaping having to die at all are in error to begin with....since the word says this: 1Co 15:35-36
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die
This is why Jesus said earlier that wherever the carcasse is there the vultures will gather....because those who are alive and remain to be raptured, their natural bodies will still die when He comes, at the moment they are taken up and they receive their glorified body....we seem to be given a picture with His words of unbelievers who are left behind gathering around all the dead bodies of those raptured, wondering why they all died suddenly. Jesus is coming for us whether we are alive or dead at His coming (and by far most of us will have died).....the blessed hope for all of us is the assurance of His coming to bring us salvation, that we will be raised to eternal life and forever be with the Lord.
