The question was what happens at Christs coming .
Rest or wrath . for the lambs its rest for the world its wrath . My advice to all is , cling to Christ and have NO hope or trust in men of this world .
Not in govts , not in vaccines , not in the news , and sadly not even within most all of christendom .
HOPE IN GOD , CLING TO CHRIST and learn those bibles .
Yes, learning the bible is what I'm trying to do with this thread.
Here's another passage:
Mat 13:39-43
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The main point of the OP, is that if the bible says in many places that this world and the people in it are judged and burned up at the coming of Christ, how can we interpret Rev 20 to mean these things will not happen at His coming? It only makes sense if we're living in the allegorical 1000 year period of longsuffering/grace now....the ark is a-preparing now against the coming flood, souls are being saved from perishing now in this age of grace (2 Peter 3) before the windows of heaven open and judgment/wrath gets poured out.
And what Christian really would deny that Jesus Christ has been exalted to the highest place and sits enthroned ruling and reigning now? He is our King! And that's the only reason we're more than conquerors through Him. All authority on heaven and earth has been given to Him, and because He delegates His authority to us, we're also ruling and reigning with Him. Now in this age. THIS age has to be what Rev 20 is talking about.
