Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
This scripture boggled me for years. I am pretty confident now that Jesus was speaking of himself.
He was made out to look like a blasphemer, a liar, an imposter, and delusional. He died a terrible death for us, and for many it was entertainment.
Not only then, but today he is the most mocked man ever recorded in history. Every bit of truth he gave us has been trodden on and ridiculed by the law, the media, entertainers, illustrators, scholars, and plain everyday people. When something goes wrong, it is always Jesus name that they curse.
I can see now what Jesus was saying all along, ...no man has been treated as badly as him. No man. Christ was calling himself the "least" in the kingdom because of the way man has treated him. He is not honoured by the world, but the most hated. The world has put Jesus far below all things. How sad.
John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Everything is upside down.
1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Let he who desires to be great among you , be as the lowest , least , YOU CALL ME LORD and Rightly so , YET I AM AMONG YOU AS HE WHO SERVES . JESUS WAS AND IS THE GREATEST , YET WALKED lowly , as a servant , a minister . He who exalts himself shall be abased , He who humbles himself exalted . We too walk lowly . Seeing ourselves as no great thing . BUT YES SISTER , its all UPSIDE DOWN NOW in most sermons and teachings . I am wore out with this I AM mentality go spells . And if one notices , these I AM self sermons , DONT SERVE NOR EXALT the TRUE I AM who SITS ON THE THRONE it exalts the I am of the MIRROR .

I love this scripture. Jesus is also the least because of what He did... He served everyone. even those who will never accept Him as Lord, as long as they are alive the option to receive Him is on the table. He didnt have to. You know some churches do a feet washing sometimes. Jesus washed everyone that will come to Him.

Yes the feet washing. Just something i would like to share.
I was tested and asked one day by a man of God what it symbolised?
My answer was that it showed how Jesus humbled himself and demonstrated using this as an example how he is serving us, and that we all ought to do the same for each other.
He told me that was true, but by Christ washing his apostles feet showed something a little more. For instance, why didn't he wash their face, or their hands,...why their feet?
Well I never thought much more into it I said. Thought I always knew.
He said well what do we use our feet for?
To walk I answered.
Exactly he said. Jesus was going to make their walk clean.
I pondered over this, and glorified the Lord. Never thought of it that way before.
Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
compare;
Romans 3:15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:

John the Baptist was proclaiming the soon arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven, and till it arrived, no greater had been born among women, but after the Kingdom had come, the least to be part of it is greater than he that was sent to announce it. That is how I have always taken it. The world has always attacked our Lord more than anyone else, but I can't see Jesus as least in the Kingdom.
I like the thought of keeping our walk clean with regard to foot washing, but there is no indication Jesus washed their feet for that purpose. This was the act of a servant, so it was about setting an example. If our Lord could humble himself as a servant, we can certainly be a servant to each other.

The world has always attacked our Lord more than anyone else, but I can't see Jesus as least in the Kingdom.
Jesus was the last prophet sent in the old covenant.
"So the last will be first, and the first last..." - Matthew 20:16
"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name..." - Philippians 2:9
"Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple." - Matthew 12:6
And about being the least, He was the least in terms of humility.
"But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves." - Luke 22:26
"If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet." - John 13:14
"And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" - Matthew 3:14
"Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant." - Matthew 20:26
"just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." - Matthew 20:28
"Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4
"...For he who is least among you all will be great." - Luke 9:48
"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name..." - Philippians 2:9
"...and he who humbles himself will be exalted." - Matthew 23:12
"Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart." - Psalm 40:6-8 God bless you all in Jesus' name!

I so love serving God. As an aunt was dying in the hospital, I washed her feet. Its all I could do for her and pray. I cried and thought about Jesus and I was humbled for serving her in her death. What a mighty God we love and serve! Praise Him always!

What a mighty God we love and serve! Praise Him always! Here is something to praise God for. We Christians have the privilege to serve the Lord for eternity. That is enough to make you shout if you think about what that really means. \o/ You CAN praise him ALWAYS!
