PULSE
Many times comments compel me to study the word of God to either learn or confirm knowledge, this one thing I do know through experience is that we can all learn more in order to be more effective. Concerning my individual life and the Ecclesia “ the church extent “ I want to know the pulse of God’s heart.
Pulse can be defined several ways, I want to direction my attention toward two facets of the definition.
a : underlying sentiment or opinion or an indication of it.
b : rhythmical beating, vibrating, or sounding.
I personally want to find the pulse of God’s heart and direction for my life, but I must submit myself to his examination willfully, lovingly, and honestly.
(2) Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. Psalms 26:2 KJV
In order to get to the place of being completely yielded, we must get into the heart of worship, when we are in the heart of worship we will be in the presence of our Lord and find answers to guide.
(24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 KJV
(11) Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11 KJV
God is very concerned about the heart of mankind, especially those who have received Christ as their Lord and Savior. The word heart through the entirety of the bible KJV is 833 times. The heart represents life, along with its different emotional and spiritual experiences. I noticed that the bible doesn’t specifically say “ heart of God “, but does in context point to God’s heart, or the thoughts, intents, and will of God. This is the pulse of God that I desire to tap into so that I may flow in his Spirit.
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 2 Corinthians 3:6 KJV
Therefore knowing the unction of the Spirit is liberating. It breaths grace into my life and leads me onto the paths of righteousness, it gives me insight that develops into wisdom. It is not cold calculated letters of law that bind and shackle, but the loving essence of God’s compassion to pardon and spare.
The pulse of God’s heart is to seek and save the lost and to edify his body, however sometime he does this through loving chastening, but not to cause despair. Champions are made through discipline and lots of love and care.
(18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
(19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19 KJV
Luke 4:18 & 19, has been part and parcel of my ministry since the Lord called me out of the darkness into his marvelous light. He anointed me a man who was formerly a chief among sinners to preach the gospel with signs following as he confirms his word. I didn’t call myself, I am not a “ self proclaimed “ apostle, and all the religious spirits, biblically correct scholars, demons in hell, and promoters of condemnation can all line up and tell me I am not called, they were not there when it happened, when the glory of God filled the room and manifested where I was weeping. The Spirit spoke prophetic things to me and I have seen them come to pass. I was set free to be a proclaimer for the liberator Christ Jesus!
(6) But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:6 KJV
Brethren, I have given you a testimony of my desire to find the pulse of God for my life and for yours. I am responsible to lead you into all righteousness as a minister of the gospel, at the end of days, I will be scrutinized more closely and severely for my conduct and leadership. It is my heart’s desire to feed you understanding build upon the foundation of God’s word.
I know you can find a joy that is unexplainable, a peace that is unsurpassable, and a love that is incomprehensible. These are found in the finding the heart of God’s will for your individual life. You are so very important to Him, he loves you with a never ending love, and has a plan for your life that will amaze you.
Brethren keep the faith today by finding refuge in the presence of the Lord, laying your life bare before him and yielding wholly unto him. As you submit and commit to him your destiny will begin to unfold before you and you shall find solace in the joy of serving him with all your heart, mind, soul, body, and strength, worshiping Him in Spirit. Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
