Just because we truly seek to walk in love, to keep and follow the commandments of the Lord Jesus...
just because we truly have the desire of doing good, to forsake all our sins we once loved and to please Him by walking according to His Spirit.
Just because of this they say:
You are going to hell because you work to be saved.
You do not believe in Him.
"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk
in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth." - 1 John 1:6
"He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked." - 1 John 2:6
"For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
“Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;" - 1 Peter 2:22
What?! Wasn't that what Christ taught us?!
If your lord taught you to hate one another, speak evil of your brethren, enjoy your sinful pleasures...
then you are indeed following another lord, because my Lord have said just the opposite.
But what?! You will say to me that I cannot do what my Lord have commanded or I will be condemned?!
Isn't that strange?! I cannot do good but I cannot do evil as well.
Then what will I do?! I truly have to choose one side.
"But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." - Matthew 5:37
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else
he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." - Matthew 6:24
It is clear that we have to turn indeed from our sins and wicked ways.
It is what the Lord expect of us - unless you have believed in vain - as He Himself said:
"...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:3
But they preach a repentance that is deceitful, it is very, very strange.
It is like saying to my wife:
Sorry for cheating on you, but now I have repented.
I will continue to practice it when you are not looking, but I have repented.
Yes, the flesh is weak then I will not stop... I will just keep cheating on you; but I have repented.
Yes, I have repented. I just cannot stop it, but I have repented.
And I love you.
OK, then my wife is beautiful, she gives me everything and I have nothing to tell against her, she does the impossible for me to stay with her...
and I will say to her:
I cheated on you but I have repented. I will not stop doing it, but I have repented.
I know you can give me everything I need to stop doing it, but I will keep doing it anyway.
It is by grace then you will have to understand.
Remember: I love you!
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?" - Matthew 7:16
Is that showing love to my wife?! No, it is clear that I do not love her at all.
And do you not know that we as Christians are also joined together with Christ in one spirit?!
As it is written:
"For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." - 1 Corinthians 6:16-17
"For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church." - Ephesians 5:29
Then my friend, what you are doing is spiritual adultery and you are deceiving yourself by openly or secretly loving and practicing your sins.
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ." - 2 Corinthians 11:13
"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:14
"Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" - Matthew 7:22-23
"Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness." - 1 John 3:4
"Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin...
...Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." - John 8:34+36
And this is the message I have to tell you.
"We love Him because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith." - 1 John 5:3-4
"But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him." - 1 Corinthians 8:3
God bless you all in Jesus' name!
