The Father won't lose any of the elect, but a person can think they are of the elect and not be. The person does not think: The person believes.Believing is living, and consequently achieving."I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:14"Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind;and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you." - Philippians 3:15
God bless you in Jesus' name!

God bless you in Jesus' name! They can believe they are of the elect and not be. None of that changes the fact that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is attributing the works of God to the devil.

PG4Him watchful John frienduff Then would you need to ask everyone before preaching the gospel to them: Did you commit the unforgivable sin? Obviously, no.
Repentance comes from God, and no one can repent and walk in truth unless it is granted by God."...if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth..." - 2 Timothy 2:25Can those who said that and then repented be forgiven?! Yes, because if they repented it means they have not committed the unforgivable sin."to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:19The only way of blaspheming a spirit is in spirit."He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters." - Luke 11:23Please, understand this!
"Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." - John 7:24
That is why I said, one must be very selfish to reject all things God has to offer, in this case His love and His truth. As the devil chose himself, and consequently all that is good he also rejected. Because all good things come from God.In short, the devil killed himself for doing so."...He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth..." - John 8:44God bless you all in Jesus' name! Amen.

He IS faithful and just to forgive us! We DO have an advocate! What great love to die on a cross for other people’s sins! There’s no god like our God! And we better praise Him for it!

<< Those who are the elect cannot and will not draw back to perdition. It is the Lord Himself that rules their lives, not the flesh. >>
And yet the bible still warns against drawing back to perdition.....so in a similar way we are warned against these other things as well, speaking evil of dignities and speaking evil of the Holy Spirit. Just as the bible warns and teaches regarding all kinds of things that we hope would not be committed by the elect.
Incidentally in 2 Peter and Jude where it talks about speaking evil of dignities...it is the same Greek word "blasphemeo" that is used in the Mark 3 passage talking about blaspheming the Holy Spirit. A similar word "blasphemia" is used in Matt. 12 and means the same thing. I looked it up to be sure, but don't take my word for it, please check it yourself, for your peace of mind on this. It is definitely referring to SPEECH, reviling, speaking evil of, reproaching, slandering.

This was mentioned in the OP, but I feel it needs to be brought up again, because of the false teaching that the unpardonable sin is nothing more than unbelief. Notice what Jesus said in Matthew 12:32...
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Let's forget about the word blasphemy for a moment, and look at what Jesus says here. He warns us against speaking against the Holy Ghost. This should once and for all put away any controversy over what this sin is. The context points us in the right direction, but this verse makes it crystal clear. To speak against the works of the Holy Spirit, and attribute them to the devil, is to commit the unpardonable sin.

What I believe Jesus meant there is the following:
The Holy Spirit says:
Walk holy, in truth and love.
The unbeliever says:
Do not walk holy. You do not need to.
The above is an example of speaking against the Holy Spirit.
"He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad." - Matthew 12:30
Now, can that unbeliever change mind and be forgiven?!
"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." - Mark 9:23
"...but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief." - 1 Timothy 1:13

Would a believer speak a word against the Holy Ghost? I have no idea. Could they? As long as they have a mouth to speak, it is possible. I was just acknowledging what the scripture actually says in that passage.
"And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." Matthew 12:32
It isn't so much a matter of who could do it as to what the sin is. Whosoever can do it. We are told that God will forgive those who speak against Jesus, but not those who speak against the Holy Ghost, so there is clearly a difference.

The unbeliever says:
Are you talking about Jesus?! He is a deceiver.
The Holy Spirit says:
Jesus is not a deceiver. Repent!
Can the unbeliever be forgiven?!
"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." - Mark 9:23
"...but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief." - 1 Timothy 1:13
As Jesus said:
"...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:5

Apparently people can speak against Jesus and still be forgiven. Unbelief can be forgiven. A man in the gospel of Luke even asked Jesus to heal his umbelief. There is nothing in Scripture that says unbelief cannot be fixed.
This is about speaking, not belief or unbelief. We cannot ignore the words printed on paper so that we may stretch and complicate the facts.
Honestly, this is one of the dangers of relying too much on spiritual (personal) interpretation. Don’t believe your own lying eyes, but believe a convoluted explanation I personally received through spirit revelation. If I had a dollar for every opposing, contradictory so calied spiritual revelation people have tried to teach me...

Apparently people can speak against Jesus and still be forgiven... People who speak against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven because they are making God a liar.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, it is God's Spirit.
That is why God cannot forgive those who speak against His Holy Spirit (truth).
That is what I believe.
