Many people face different kind of anxieties during the day.
But how you handle anxiety and worry will make the difference.
When you are anxious or worried is because you are not trusting in the Lord as you ought.
"Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?" - Matthew 6:27
"If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?" - Luke 12:26
The more you doubt, the more you place your trust in yourself or men the more anxiety you will face.
I know, I know you will not learn to overcome anxiety overnight.
But the more you learn, the more you win against it, the more anxiety free you will become.
And it is a blessing. The truth is that we have no reasons to worry when the Lord is on our side.
"For the Scripture says,
“Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”" - Romans 10:11
Spiritual adversaries like to play with our fear and doubts. And they will send more doubts to you.
This can affect any negatively, because we do not know of everything.
When such thoughts of worry and the fear of the unpredictable (or the worst) comes, rest assured of one thing:
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God..." - Romans 8:28
Another tip is to pray whenever you face such moments of anxieties, which usually is followed by evil spiritual suggestions.
Evil spiritual suggestions always come to increase your doubt and fear.
Then, one thing you must do to overcome such is to pray. Pray believing!
Whenever anxiety comes, you pray and tell the Lord what is causing you anxiety.
Example:
Lord, I am worried for this and that, because of this and that.
I leave it in your hands as I know you will work the best for me.
The above is just an example. You add your own words, just do so in faith.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
"...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7
Anxiety is common for many people, even the most experienced will have their moments that will put them to test.
Then, each one of us is afflicted is some way or another.
But the Lord is always with us, working together for the good of those who love Him.
"...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love
him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." - John 14:23
"By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." - 1 John 4:13
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." - John 15:7
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments..." - 1 John 5:3
"But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him." - 1 Corinthians 8:3
"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this:
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”" - Galatians 5:14
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." - Luke 10:19
"Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech..." - 2 Corinthians 3:12
May the Lord bless you abundantly!
