If any cares to know how to highlight a text, or how to add tables in a post, and how to add borders to that table, let me know, and images is pretty simple , but there are programs you can use to add bigger sized images.

ok. so how do you...
1) post a video and it shows up, not the link. i think someone already covered it but i forgot and forgot where... and if it was you sorry about that. my memory is not the best.
and 2) how do you post a picture, say from the computer... but even more how do you make sure it doesnt have any gps coordinates or any kind of info attached to it that could be used to track you, or id you. i know that last part is a little out of the spectrum listed, but hey, if you dont ask you wont receive.

Here is a graphic: Narrow Way methodYou see the arrows, one is for videos, and one is for images. Once you click add attachments, then it shows another screen to add your files, here is a picture for that: Of course you press add files, and go onto your computer to get the file or picture you want, but the images are limited to 1mb, and you can only add 3 images, which do not always show up in the right size, but you can mess around with that if you like. And to place the image, you must first press your cursor were you want it, and then press insert. But for myself I prefer One Drive, which you can put many images, and really big sizes. All the images on here are from One Drive. This process requires more thought process. I will show images to try and make it easy. One Drive method
You first must sign in to One drive, and then to upload files or pictures, you must go in the file section. You do a drag and drop from your computer to One Drive. Then afterwards, you click on the images check mark, then right click, and this image appears: Then click embed, then generate, and click on include html tags, then copy the code. Afterwards, you must go in the BBCode section down below that is when you are composing a post, and paste it in there, making sure you paste it at the right place. Here is the code I got for my image: <img src="https://hbwlog.bn.files.1drv.com/y4mEPpLLQuN31AuY0L04nvWovo-owMxFSCY_L1J8C5xFL4rwu0Zk1i8gZOXFBMmT1LtqA9Bf9n63m3EgPJPzmt2G6D-C47ubAf0IeCoSxi-EUxEVs2bvxKMjSkUkWNIhRTXwGDAoA6toG1Riuc7JxxkumkVjVZ7MinsFnmLOBPyDWkVgAbfRuuBzPzjHEUb-B9gdB4qepWlZBHzIFgPMWwtnw?width=289&height=689&cropmode=none" width="289" height="689" /> The tags at the beginning and end <> must be replaced with these tags [], for this forum only accepts these tags for function. It probably sounds complicated, but with practice you can get it.

For videos, you press the button in my previous post, and then copy a link from youtube, and paste it in the box that will appear, and then press insert video.
Other video formats can work, especially the ones they show, but youtube seems to work really well.
And your video will only show up when you post it.

There is also another way to put an image. By direct linking. Here is a picture for that: Now that image comes from One drive but my next image will be from pessing that button and direct linking: See it does not work very well, especially with my image, which I put this code into it: onedrive.live.com/?cid=0912027297A21B07&id=912027297A21B07%2114897&parId=root&o=OneUpBut it may work better with other links, and I put this code in the BBCode mode.

Maybe others have different methods, but my favorite is the One Drive method.
If others have a different method, feel free to share.

They are so much simpler now, but it is still funny seeing someone try to walk me through something that is so simple to them, but looks complicated beyond belief to me. This is something I will have to look at more carefully when I have a bit more time.

I don’t even understand what Giller is talking about.
Above and to the right of those buttons is a large grey button that says Add Attachment. You can put an image in a post without doing any coding at all.

I wish the program of this forum allowed bigger image sizes, so that the image appears correctly, and more images, but it is what it is.
And it does not allow highlighting, so because of that, you need to know a bit of code to do that.
Say you right the word John, afterwards you have to go in the BBCODe section, and type this before and after the word John.
<span style="background-color: yellow;">John</span>
But you have to replace the <> tags with [].
And I just realized that you can do this also in the preview mode, which I did not know before you could, here is the result, typing this in preview mode:
John
That is it.

Did you try to download it to your computer first, and then from your computer upload it to a message boards?

Did you try to download it to your computer first, and then from your computer upload it to a message boards? The images are too large. They will upload to Facebook, but not to message boards.
