We all need to beware of false fellowship and hypocrisy.
It is time to forget this heart of stone, and to desire a heart of flesh.
A heart that will have delight in good things.
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;
I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." - Ezekiel 36:26
How are people with hardened hearts?!
People who do not care about people, but seek to destroy them. Yes, to destroy them.
"For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret." - Ephesians 5:12
Wolves in sheep clothing, they smile nice to you but behind the curtains they plan to kill you; are master in hate, evil-speaking, and evil deeds.
But they still say: I am a new creature.
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte,
and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves." - Matthew 23:15
Love one another?! Where is this in the Bible? Some even say it is not to be put in practice.
All they see is: I can hate everybody, even myself, and still I am going to heaven because the Lord understands and paid it for me.
"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the
scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5:20
The scribes and Pharisees also walked like this, they walked practicing the law without mercy; followed by the flesh, living by the letter.
They did not read that they had to love one another, for them they could just kill, murder and hate and do a sacrifice and all would be fine.
"...for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." - 2 Corinthians 3:6
And they thought they were being acceptable in the sight of God. They did the sacrifice, in their own eyes they were clean.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;" - Proverbs 3:5
But were they being acceptable in the sight of God living that way?!
"Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also." - Matthew 23:26
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly,
but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness." - Matthew 23:27
Obviously not.
"But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’
For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." - Matthew 9:13
The message of the gospel has no effect on their hearts, with their lips they insult others, say that they are evil and a son of satan; yet they cannot prove.
"I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you." - John 8:37
"It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master.
If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!" - Matthew 10:25
When Jesus taught us to love even our enemies, they have difficult in loving themselves, they only "love" those who adds benefit to them.
And even that it is a hypocritical love, because when that person needs him or her they will close the door at their faces.
"But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this." - John 8:40
Where the message of the gospel is in them I do not know. Certainly, they are quite blind deceived.
"Many will say to Me in that day,
‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" - Matthew 7:22-23
Their evil desires dominate them completely, they cannot sincerely love, they cannot pray to be healed of their wickedness... Because they love their wickedness.
They see some people genuinely loving one another, and say: Those are hypocrites, how can they love?! It is not possible.
"...With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." - Matthew 19:26
"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." - 1 John 4:8
It is not possible because they do not believe, all they do is to say: I love you...
But inwardly their desire is to kill and they embrace it, and with their mouth they do it daily.
"But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.
And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council.
But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire." - Matthew 5:22
In the gospel Jesus said to love our enemies.
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you..." - Matthew 5:44
To love them. Do you love me?! I hope you're at least trying.
Do you want to love me?! Then please pray for me so that I can be blessed, and you as well.
"I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." - Genesis 12:3
And let us repent, in deed and in truth. And put our evil desires and hypocrisy to death - definitely to death.
"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." - 1 Peter 2:1-3
So we cannot seek our own will but the will of Him who sent us.
"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:38
Our will leads us to death, His will leads us to life. Eternal life.
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You,
the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." - John 17:3
Then let us all unite together and seek His will, and offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, and put to garbage all that is ours.
"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." - Colossians 3:2-4
And in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of
the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." - Colossians 3:17
And I say everything, every little thing that is ours... All evil. If you say: This is not possible.
You are mistaken, it is possible if you ask Him and trust in Him. Do not trust in yourself.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8
Ask, seek, knock, and keep doing it. The Lord will give it to you, He will open it for you.
Be founded on the rock - on the Lord Jesus Christ!
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25
Because we do not have to seek what is ours, but what is His.
"For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men" - 1 Peter 2:15
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ:
"Receive faith, and love, and wisdom.
Be poured abundantly in your heart!
Receive life!"
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Proverbs 9:10
And let us seek what is His, without partiality or hypocrisy...
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23
To Him all the honor and glory. For all eternity! Amen.
"For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen." - Romans 11:36
God bless you in Jesus' name!
It is time to forget this heart of stone, and to desire a heart of flesh.
