Was there a time in your life when God spoke to you through a particular verse or song or Christian video to give you a word about your struggle? Do you have any verses or songs that hold special meaning for you? Let's give God some praise for past victories!
As for songs, I remember back in January 2012 when I was rushed to the hospital. I was extremely dizzy, and my pulse was racing. The ER stabilized me with medication, but they didn't resolve the issue, and I spent several years battling these symptoms. Kari Jobe released a song called Steady My Heart at the exact same time all of this was starting. I remember playing that song over and over.
Then, when this had lasted for such a long time, I began to pray in earnest for deliverance. One day in 2016 I was locked in my bedroom on my knees in prayer. I reminded God that if He could raise Lazarus from the dead after four days, He could fix my problem. I spoke Lazarus over myself for several minutes. Then I immediately felt a strong urge to grab my Bible. When I picked it up, I somehow opened it exactly to John 11. That day was the turning point when many spiritual things began to unravel in my life.
How has God given you words of hope?

I can't wait to share here! (after prayer meeting )

That day was the turning point when many spiritual things began to unravel in my life. How has God given you words of hope? Sister Candance ... I can testify to many times when Holy Spirit has brought His Word to me to bring peace, healing, comfort, and victory.
First time was when I was a baby Christian, living in a home filled with darkness, the only believer in my family. I was hit with such opposition, threats from family members, punishment from my father, and spiritual battles ... one day, I was in such distress, I fell across my bed with my Bible ... no words, just tears and weeping... opened my Bible and it was like these Scriptures were highlighted!!
Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"
I have seen God do miraculous things!! He has carried me through many things and given me strength to witness to my father through years of abuse. God showed me when I was about age 14, that He would save my dad. And it would seem that the promise would not be answered.... my father's attempted suicides, through years of abuse, etc, etc .... the Lord consistently opened doors for me to witness to him. My sister and other family members wondered why or how I could love him. But it wasn't me ... it was the love God placed there for someone who was lost. Years later, my dad came up missing... we didn't know where he was for 5 or 6 years. Then he recontacted me ... seemingly at the most inconvenient time, as I was facing so many trials. But I knew it was an answer to prayer! I'd hoped it was the time God would save my father and that we'd have an amazing new father-daughter relationship ... but that was not His plans. My father soon found out he was dying, stage IV cancer. After a few more opportunities to express the love and forgiveness of God to him, my dad gave his heart to Jesus!! He passed away a few months later... on Thanksgiving Day, 2005.
God is not slack concerning His promises! It was some 18 years from when God spoke to me that He would save my dad. He answers prayers... don't give up on what God has spoken to you!!!

The song is "Peace In The Valley," by J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet. When I see all the evil and sickness and persecutions against the righteous, it reminds me there is a day coming when Jesus will return and put a stop to all of that. There will be no more wars, only peace. There will be no more sorrow, only joy. There will be peace in the valley.

The Whisnants have a really good song called, "Is Anything Too Hard For God?" Given the scripture you mentioned, I think it would be a blessing to you.

Do you have any verses or songs that hold special meaning for you? Let's give God some praise for past victories! I have one, it made me to think about my position: Am I believing?!How has God given you words of hope?
I believe every day... I am thinking a lot during the day, specially about spiritual matters.
And exhortation always comes with scriptures in mind.I reminded God that if He could raise Lazarus from the dead after four days, He could fix my problem.
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." - Mark 11:24

"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." - Mark 11:24 Yes indeed, there are so many Christians who pray with little to no actual belief.

Many “christians” think when they pray and ask for ANYTHING they will receive it. No, not true. Only those things that God will bless you with will you get.
Your heart determines your correct attitude and thinking when praying. I can pray for God to give me a Maserati for ever and I can tell you now, I wont get it.
However, when I ask sincerely for my dad to be saved before he died, I totally Trust God and I am excited to see who I will see in heaven On That Day!!
All one needs in this life is clothing and food, the rest is just a luxury and a blessing And when we can, we will share all that we have! Amen!!

You can pray amiss, according to your lusts, and you won't receive.

All one needs in this life is clothing and food, the rest is just a luxury and a blessing And when we can, we will share all that we have! Amen!! Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4) (The Christian who delights in the Lord wouldn't be praying for a Maserati. The desires of the heart of the one who delights in God are God's desires and more of Him!) You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the spirit that He has made to dwell in us"? (James 4:3,4) Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides You. (Psalm 73:25) As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
(Psalm 42:1,2) For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5)

You can pray amiss, according to your lusts, and you won't receive. Or you can pray righteously but what you're asking for simply isn't God's will. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26,27) And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him. (1 John 5:14,15) Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:8,9) In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to Him who was able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence. Although He was a son, he learned obedience through what He suffered. (Hebrews 5:7,8)

Romans 8:26-28 is a scripture that the Lord regularly refers me to for encouragement.
