Once you have offended someone, there is no telling how they will react. Yes, professing Christians can find themselves full of hate. This is more common in the church than many realize.

It begins with one person being offended by another. This leads to the person who was offended betraying the one that offended them. Often times, this could be over a misunderstanding, where they didn't take the time to find out if they understood what the person meant or why they did whatever they did that offended them. Left to fester, this leads to people hating each other. This is something that Jesus said will increase in the last days.
