Preacher John. I was watching your message about the mark of the beast, and have a question. Do you think that they will be able to force people to take the mark against their will? I have heard some say that doctors may implant them by force on people or parents may force their children to get them. Do you think God will allow that to happen?

Hello Fruitful, and welcome to Narrow Way. I personally do not believe anyone can be forced to take the mark of the beast against their will, but I also believe that if we are ready when the Lord returns, we don't have to go through the tribulation period. Still, what about those who are here, that weren't ready or that get saved during the tribulation period? I don't believe anyone, including children can be forced to take the mark, but again, I will let John answer for himself since you were asking about his video.

No I do not believe anyone will be given the mark of the beast by force. It must be by consent. If it could be done by force, the anti-Christ controlled governments would just round everyone up and place the mark on them, but instead of doing that, people are told that without this mark, they cannot buy or sell. There will also be people that are executed for refusing the take the mark of the beast and for refusing to worship the beast.
As far as the rapture goes, I agree with 777 in a pre-tribulation rapture for those who are following Christ faithfully when he returns, but I believe that most of the professing Christians will be left behind. It will be a relatively small number that will escape. I also acknowledge, as I said in the video, that when it comes to Bible prophecy, there are some areas where we could be wrong. The Lord is definitely going to return. There is no doubt about that, but when it comes to the exact timeline, we can't be as certain. That is why we should live each day as though the Lord may return at any moment, because He could. If He doesn't come precisely when we expect Him, don't give up, because He will return according to the will of the Father.
