In my mind, horoscopes are in the same category as fortune-tellers and psychics. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I agree. The same powers of darkness fortune tellers and psychics use are the power behind the horoscope.

I think the word should be changed to whorescope . For these are the works of an adulterous spirit , and those who view her scope , see only through her darkened eyes and ways . Just a thought .

All these years, I never knew there was anything in the Bible that said horoscopes were bad. I need to go back and read through the Bible. Why is it nobody preaches about things like this? Most of the preachers today are failing us, preaching about everything but what matters.

Another thing that would fall into this fortune telling category, which God forbids, is these fortune cookies they give out at Chinese food restaurants, I never read them, not interested, want nothing to do with them, I just trow them in the garbage or rip em up, or throw to the side, because sometimes at those restaurants, they are the ones that will clean up the table afterwards and throw things away.

Anything you put your trust in to guide your future besides God can be sin. I wonder if anyone really would take a fortune cookie serious? You never know.

Maybe most do not take fortune cookies seriously but just the same it really is no different than an horoscope, just when you put it in a cookie, people do not take it as seriously, but God still does, and we have to learn to see things how God sees them, and we should even take this fortune cookie stuff seriously, as seriously as the horoscope, because really there is no difference. Satan loves to makes his ways appear innocent, in either cookies, or say in the easter bunny and so on, but God does not see as man or Satan sees. God's ways are not our ways.

I admit to reading fortune cookies, but I never believed them. I do think you are right. We shouldn't read them. I would bet some do take the so-called lucky numbers serious.
