I took a visit to see my 95 yr old mom in law. She’s now having memory issues. So plans have been made with my bro in laws, I will get all the paperwork they need to sign as they live out of state and I will help her get all her papers in order and boy did we do a lot of shredding!! Praise God, she has decided she can no longer drive. I took her to the doctor for some tests and he agreed. Then...she gave me her car! I said I would pay for it and she said no its yoursl So I will sell my van and give her the money to help her pay off her hearing aids! Both Lois and Eunice are in great shape, Lois needs a walker and uses one and Eunice will drive her as needed! God is wonderful and her sons are getting informed on all issues. I said on a conference call, I’m doing this not to be bossy but because Mike * their deceased brother, my hubby ~ and I had this conversation ten years into our marriage, end of life, power of attorney and wills etc so nothing was a surprise when he did die unexpectedly.
I have time to help Mom as I’m the closest to Mom than the sons are. And the sons also have family members who are elderly as well. I would love to have her sons help her more but that’s why I am here! She truly needs this help and has thanked me, I said it’s my priveledge and honor to help you! You gave me your son! (Think of that when praising God, YOU GAVE ME YOUR SON).
I just returned home and will travel back to her house in the morning for a few more days. Praise God, the drive there and back is beautiful, its nice to see her and Eunice and we are all loved. Amen!!
