Our purpose here is not to pick a Bible topic and have a knock down, drag out fight to the spiritual death. It is not a game for us. This is not a debate club. We discuss the Bible to try to come to the truth. Visitors are our guests here, and I understand they may not understand this. They may be used to going into forums like this to debate a topic as a type of sport. If that is what you are looking for, you came to the wrong place. If you want to discuss things with other Christians to try to come to a better understanding, that is fine. Those who can't abide by that will have their posts removed with no explanations.

Someone asked me about going behind what is being taught to see if it matches up with scripture, and I want everyone to know that I welcome that. If a person feels threatened by that, something is wrong. That is different from a fight, that often turns ugly with name calling and insults. Feel free to question something if you see error, but our foundation is the Holy Bible, which we take literal. Attempts to discredit the Bible itself won't be tolerated. Our desire is a correct understanding of scripture, regardless of where that might lead us.
