I don't think there is any question that the correct answer is all of the above. Where you are going to run into differences of opinion is what it means to learn behavior from the world. You learned to drive a car from the world. You learned to pay taxes from the world. You learned basic education from the world. We learned how to cook from the world. Anything not spiritual is pretty much things we learned from the world, so then we are faced with questions over what things are sinful that we learned in the world? To me, that would be things that transgress God's laws, as sin is the transgression of the law according to 1 John.

I knew I should have quantified what I meant by behaviors. A task is not a behavior. I mean the way we conduct ourselves in friendships, relationships, business, etc.

Scripture says we are actually dead to the perishable things of this world.
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? — Colossians 2:20-22
All of these rudimentary tasks we must do to function in this world, we do as dead people. They come and they go. They’re not supposed to have any effect on us one way or another. People who squabble over such things are wasting time on earthly tasks they are actually supposed to be dead to.
The question deals with things that are able to touch our soul. Behaviors of the heart and mind. How we conduct ourselves, carry ourselves, treat other people, and go about our business. It saddens me that this has to be explained.
The world teaches us lots of behaviors that blatantly contradict Scripture! The world says “I’ll treat you the way you treat me” and I’ve heard plenty of Christians use this line in the workplace — but it’s exactly the opposite of a very clear teaching in Scripture. The world says “respect is earned, not given” and I’ve heard many Christians parrot this, even though it’s in direct opposition to Romans 13. Where did they learn those attitudes? From the world!
We as Christians should be willing to examine every attitude, opinion, belief, and value in light of Scripture. We should leave no stone unturned.

I believe it means to have friendship with the world, is walking in the flesh, living for the flesh.
It is the result of an impure heart, an impure heart will desire evil things.
"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh,
but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." - Romans 8:5
One can be worldly while being inside the church, and one can be Spiritual while in the world.
"...The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’
For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." - Luke 17:20-21
The world is the kingdom of flesh.
And being such it cannot receive nor comprehend creatures from another kingdom (e.g. the kingdom of the Spirit).
"for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." - Romans 14:17
It is impossible for them to have a sincere fellowship.
"...For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?
And what communion has light with darkness?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14
Blessings!

Honestly when it comes to things like music, I don’t care if you listen to opera, broadway, jazz, country, or anything else. People spend too much time debating these things. Just don’t listen to terrible music that fills your head with anti-Scriptural attitudes. Listen to music that feeds your soul and actually makes you feel better, not worse. It isn’t about the style, it’s about the message/agenda.
Now having said all of that, I’m convinced that the message behind most “mainstream Christian rock” is basically “continue in sin that grace may abound.” Choose your counsel wisely.

worldliness is a condition of the heart and a way of thinking and is the natural state of man upon birth. its doing what is appealing to the flesh nature, the sinful fallen nature that man has inherited from Adam and Eve due to disobedience from doing what God said. the word in the hebrew from the tree of knowledge of good and evil literally means- to close of fasten the eyes. when the eyes being closed and fastened happens what do you see... darkness, nothing. many who are worldly do not even realize they are in this state. they have no guidance from The Holy Spirit to do anything different, and the flesh seeks only to fill its own belly, its own insatiable desires such as the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. it seeks its own. it seeks to gratify and exalt self. it seeks to be right above all else and others. to be the highest power. it seeks to be its own god. in every way and every situation. only by Gods light has any man a shred of hope to rise up out of this natural state of man. God calls us out of the world, he makes us want to be like Him, and His ways are higher than our ways.

Blessings! This is so true. Flesh and spirit are in a state of war, and they oppose each other at every turn.

I agree, and one thing I find so dangerous about that kind of message in song is that people receive it like a mini-sermon. It can be more dangerous than secular music, because we don't see secular singers as ministers. There is a gospel song where the person asks God for forgiveness for actual sin, only to have him reply they did nothing wrong. It promotes the phony grace message where God can't see through the blood line.
