A cute, funny little story about my middle daughter ... when she was 4 years old, she really had a crush on Mark Trammel. Haha! One day, she asked me, "Do you think he'd marry me when I grow up?" So serious, she was....

Those are both good songs. We have a full time southern gospel station in my area called Joy FM that is online. I don't know if that is the station you were listening to. In my area, it is on 91.3 FM.

I really love going back and watching/listening to the Reunion video the Cathedrals did back in the 1990's. We used to have the VHS tape of it, and it was from that video that my middle daughter formed a crush on Mark Trammel. lol
I heard this song today and decided to post it in this thread.

"Step Into The Water" is a good song, that was originally released back in 1982 I think. It was sent out as the B side of a song called "Mexico," and turned out to be a bigger hit. "Mexico" reached #10 and "Step Into The Water" went to #1.
The song "He Made A Change" was a good song too. There is nobody like the Cathedral Quartet.

Yes, it came out before I came to the Lord, but I remember hearing it way back when I was saved in 1986. I remember the song, "Mexic." It's cool how you remember those things.
They came together for the reunion and sang a lot of those old songs with a lot of the past group members. Loved it! I think I'll post some more of the songs here too.

I loved to watch Glen and George sing and how excited they were to sing about the Lord.

I was a radio announcer back then, and filling out our chart for Singing News Magazine. Radio stations send in their top 20, and Singing News compiles them to create their Top 40 chart. I remember a lot of the details regarding songs at that time.
