Abby-Joy has had a set back, and is not doing well. She can't get around without help. It was very sudden. We need to be in prayer for her. If I get any updates, I will pass them on.

Thank you, John, for posting this. And thank you ladypeartree for praying, and all others who are praying.
I'm able to walk today, as normal. I'm not sure what happened yesterday but I was unable to walk for a couple hours. There is improvement in some other things that have been going on as well.

I'm not sure what happened yesterday but I was unable to walk for a couple hours.
I also make the same questions myself... But I will post something to think about:
I was thinking about it these days, why do we suffer a pain or disability suddenly?!
I have been thinking about it, as it happens to me as well, and how I wish I could always simply pray and then poof (the pain is gone).
It is not that I am suffering too much, I am not, but those are things I wished to avoid:
"And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”..." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
And I realized this can serve at least three purposes:
To keep us humble. The power to heal, make things better is not from us... It is from Him, then it shows us we are powerless and are under the will of God.
To test our faith. Will I endure it patiently and praise God or will I start to murmur and complain?!
To teach us. You just need it in order to learn it.
Whatever the reason is, just let us keep on praising God in all circumstances.
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Revelation 22:12
"...Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." - Revelation 2:10
"...Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
One interesting thing I have noticed while watching TV one of these days:
I saw a woman who (apparently) had nothing to eat in her home, she was living in very precarious condition in Venezuela, and yet she had nothing to say against Maduro, she seemed loyal to him.
And then, we see Christians who cannot endure much lower difficulties without complaining to God.
"...For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light." - Luke 16:8
And what will they profit?! They have just lost the blessing, without faith it is impossible to please God.
"Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful." - James 5:11
Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
