Very often, I like to think about how fortunate I am to live in the United States.
The standard of living for even the poor here is very high compared to many parts of the world.
There are so many opportunities. Today I walked into a temp company and immediately got a job. I am excited to go back into the work force.
I am so blessed and have so many things to be grateful for.

Both. We could use the money but I am really excited to work again. To be safe, I'll take medication, but at a moderate dose. |

I rejoice with you that you were able to find a job, but is everything going okay? Did you get into a financial situation where you had no choice but to return to work, or did you just want to?
Both. We could use the money but I am really excited to work again. To be safe, I'll take medication, but at a moderate dose. |

Today, I'm very thankful that I could feel God's presence with me when I went to my worksite today.
They weren't actually ready for us to work so I went home early. But I got a lot of cleaning done.

I want to thank the Lord for the privilege of serving Him. Whatever our task, be it great or small, God only requires that we be faithful to do it, and I am thankful for every open door to minister.

Thank the Lord for this place, where we can receive encouragement from each other. I was really blessed this morning by Naomi's post about obeying the Lord, and witnessing for Him at the grocery store. Let's let this kind of boldness rise up in all of us to be a witness.

Thankful I can be useful.
Thankful for fun time with my husband at the park and eating Mexican food.
Because I used less grocery money, we were able to get a gorgeous comfy couch secondhand.
We have a guest coming by tomorrow and I'm not feeling bad about the state of the place.
God is good
