man. you know how some times God does it so good you just cant not speak on it. and you know this is just to good to be from anywhere/anywho but The Almighty. well, for me that day came today. I am tired of working myself down so tired i dont want to do anything on my day off. and really not moving forward in life to much, just barely making it. my knee cant take much more of it anyway. hurts to even bend it some days, let alone walk and even more carry heavy loads, which i do and dont ask for light duty because my knee hurts. some days they call me gimpy. I grew up in a wood shop. know my way around a wood shop. know how to make furniture like coffee tables, entertainment centers/consoles, end tables, console tables, shadow boxes, towel racks, those little cabinet shelves they hang over a toilet, magazine racks. little fancy stuff to. knick knacks. lamps. i can make kitchen and bathroom cabinets too. I just couldnt afford the tools/machines. i had a few but i was limited on what i could build with my skills. this fella i been doing some work for here and there who just so happens to be a beloved brother, and i even found out he is a pastor of a church... and the fellowship is righteous too. well he knew these people thru his church and someone in their family died. he just so happened to have a wood shop and they needed the stuff gone just as much as i needed it. the price was real right. i bought a radial arm saw for 175, with a bench, a fence, and a stack of blades for it... new ones. there was over 175 bucks in blades alone. the saw new is over 2 grand. i bought a band saw too. so now i can cut down trees or acquire logs and turn timber to lumber, even butterfly the grain and slap some tung oil on it and puuurdy puuurdy. and it come with a hand full of blades. these are industrial machines, not harbor freight stuff, though that stuff works this is awesome machines. a scroll saw with a stand too. 2 hand held sanders both for less than the cost of either brand new. I got a big box of fancy fancy wood accents for free. little hinges even fancy locks and clasps. i got a few corner clamps for making picture frames or the like. a whole arm full of dowel rods of different thicknesses and material, some made of poplar. nice nice stuff. I got an adjustable roller for long boards hanging off the bench when cutting... and a metal cabinet with a wood top. I will go dumpster diving at the carpet store in town to cover the table top of this to not scratch fine finish materials as I work. this stuff with what i already had... Cletus is in business. For myself. keep the hours I want. Listen to the music I want... glory glory Hallelujah... in my shop. I have no other to thank for this than God. tomorrow i go to get the big stuff and set up my shop. all I lack right now is paint and wood stain... but guess what, i dont need it right now, LOL. My dream of what i can do to not work for someone else is here. Thank God!!!
edit: and i tested the saws. cuts thru wood like butter.
re-edit: I am gonna make rocking chairs too.
Praise the LORD , praise the LORD brother Cletus . The Lord did this for me too . three years ago in may I started my own business too . You play those wonderful gospel tunes as you work on the wood work . OH just praise the Lord and the knee should heal up in time .

That is so great! I remember you saying you had a lot of extra work hours. Sounds like God was preparing the way for you to have the funds. So exciting!

The most obvious thing I need to thank the Lord for is that we are still here after a full year! Thank you Jesus for that and all the good people I have become friends with as a result.

Brother frienduff, haven't had time to watch, been so busy, but just getting to it for a few minutes now....very alarming! I will have to finish later. But yest, the false prophet is Pope Francis, uniting all religions under the One World Religion, and the transgender movement.........sound the alarm!

I want to thank the Lord for what has been a pretty smooth day, when it looked like it was going to be very difficult when it began. My regular truck is still being repaired, and when I got to the port, I had to deal with not having a transponder. Normally, you just get this temporary paper that allows you but a couple of times in before you have to get one for the truck, but they gave me a permanent one, so I don't have to worry about access no matter how long my truck is out of service. We are required to have ties for the containers for safety, and when I was already in the port, I realized I didn't have any in this truck. I just happened to ask another driver if he had any he could spare, and it just happened he had re-stocked his supply the day before, and he gave me a big handful. I got in and out easy, and even managed to get a decent place to park at an over crowded truck stop.
Yesterday, I was very frustrated over my car tearing up, but the Lord did allow me to get back to my work place, and get it parked, so it didn't mess up my job. When I looked up information on the codes, it looks like it won't be as bad as I had feared. The Lord is good and faithful.

We have a little wooden gazebo that hangs on our front porch. Yesterday a couple of red finches scoped it out for a nest. They’ve already started moving in foliage. This gazebo hangs right outside the window. Now I can drink coffee in my living room each morning and watch the show.

And the good thing is ya don't have to worry about no agenda like commericals during it . You can just watch those birds In peace . cause rest assured you wont see one wearing a wig and confused about what sex it is and the other one cheering it on . This is far better than tv . You enjoy those birds dear sister .

Tonight I had to protect my little finches. The mother has laid a few eggs. She was laying on them when a starling tried to steal her nest. I was sitting here watching through the window, and I saw the starling poke around a few times. I knew what it was doing. Here came that little bully with straw in its beak!! I stepped out the front door, and everyone scattered. Mother finch is back.
