"At home" >
"As for me and mine, we shall serve the Lord of Hosts!"
NEVER give in to unbelief / false teachings/ those things directly opposed to the Bible.
okay ? (not rhetorical question - rather leading to clarity in the LIGHT (JESUS) opposed to darkness (flesh/ world)....

Visitors are limited to the Visitor's Area, so the post was moved. I think we can all agree false doctrine is bad! Without faith, it is impossible to please God, so belief in the LORD is essential.

Is the post/ thread okay to continue in ?
"At home" - Where is your home ?
(I can't quickly find the reference the faithful perish while continually joyously looking to a future city as written in God's Word)
I was 'testing' posting - didn't know until I tried I could post a reply as I did as a 'guest' - weird, huh ?
There are difficult (some false apparently, from last year the Mount of Olives and other) topics, subjects, threads and posts, not sure they are welcome or not.... step by step, always in line with Scripture in the LIGHT(JESUS) :
For perspective, perhaps: As posted in an entirely different thread: by 2fw8212a *** Jan 9, 2019 at 4:33pm Post by 2fw8212a on Jan 9, 2019 at 4:33pm "This may be a hard saying for many Christians to understand and accept". ------------------------
For the purpose of finding out if "Bereans" testing everything are around ? And if 'we' are permitted to test as Scripture says ?

I want people to know the Bible and to see if what is being said lines up with scripture. There is so much false doctrine being spread, it is a matter of spiritual life and death. Test all things.

Remember this post recently ? (just saw it while skimming recent posts): "I often wonder if there are really serious atheists, or if they are really just God haters. How can any intelligent person believe we don't have a creator? " How would you "test" this bold underlined statement ? i.e. what does God Say in His Word about this ? (I think Jesus referred to this, and also in one or more Epistles/Letters to the Assemblies)

(I think Jesus referred to this, and also in one or more Epistles/Letters to the Assemblies) Hebrews chapter one gives the most obvious reason to know there is a God, the creation itself. I don't see it as all that bold. It takes a lot more faith to believe that things just came into being on their own as the result of an explosion of particles than to believe in a divine creator. I consider it far more bold to take the position of an atheist. Proverbs says that it is the fool that says in his heart there is no God.
For those who have taken the time to read the Bible cover to cover, the Bible simply makes sense. It tells us where we came from and where we are going in a very convincing fashion. It makes perfect sense. It fits. I never looked at what I said as being bold.

(perhaps 'bolded' would have been better - referring to the bolded (i.e. underlined) text specifically).... Although, then, what is written about who has the boldness of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah ? Yet with or without being bold, the whole world rejects God and opposes Jesus, often viciously, flagrantly, and with venom and violence... Then back to the point , "intelligence", for a bit of observation --- what did Jesus and the Apostle(s) say about 'smart' educated people and well-to-do people ? (that NOT MANY are saved ? - NOT MANY are in the Assembly )

That is so true Joseph. It has been good talking to you, and I will try to check back later, Lord willing.

Are you referring to my post about the mount of Olives? Because I think I am the only one that has mentioned it. If so, we can discuss it. The truth is given precept upon precept, line upon line, so written in such a way that we have to seek to connect the dots. This is what the Lord wants us to do, ....put the scriptures together to get a clear picture, and not a distorted one.
By the way, I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome you.

He was in the Introduction Section responding to a post where he was told to feel at home, meaning here at Narrow Way, and used that as a springboard. I didn't realize it was Joseph, our new member, because he posted as a guest, so I moved it over here.
