...Greeks pictured it as a horse with a horn. That picture worked its way through European fairy tales. And now most people link that as being an unicorn whenever the word is heard.
Then it makes some think that the Bible is fairy tale... Are you seeing the strategy?!
Blessings!

Blessings!Yes, and then they hear about talking serpents, a red fiery dragon and monsters in the sea and on earth! And you can see why the Word is a stumbling block for many.

Personally I think unicorns are rhinos. I saw a video on a word study on this before. they took the word back thru time and it lead back thru many versions of dictionaries where it shows the word in the bible being traced back to being a rhino. a whole lot of researching had to be done going back, way way back. check it out: Good video Cletus.

Yes, and then they hear about talking serpents, a red fiery dragon and monsters in the sea and on earth! And you can see why the Word is a stumbling block for many. Another example is when I was watching a cartoon on TV and I heard one of the characters kind of mocking this verse:
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil,
for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness,
and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." - 1 Timothy 6:10
by saying (approximately):
That guy who said money is the root of all evil was mistaken by far.
That is how the enemy operates, many times in a subtle manner (just like a serpent).
Blessings!

I think the emphasis of the unicorn may be more to do with the horn than with what type of animal it is. The Horn represents authority, strength, power.
Psalms 75:5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
Psalms 75:10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
Psalms 89:17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
Psalms 89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
i was thinking on your words and scriptures you posted. back in the day they also used a horn, a shofar, to sound for calls to worship or to signify certain things/days/events/feasts/etc. I wonder if this is apart of the reference here, or even a nail on the head type thing. I think, dont quote me on this, but I think this custom was done not only by the Israelites, but also the gentiles/pagans but i think the horns were a little different.
what saith thou?

Blessings!Yes, I have noticed that many of these cartoons are indoctrinating our kids from young. This is an example 2f of them speaking dark sentences.
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
They are trained to trample on the truth because they all have the spirit of anti-christ. We understand their dark sentences also, because it's our King and kingdom they are against and Christ's words that we know.

Yes, many used those horns to make a sound. It was the loudest instrument. But God never told us exactly what type of animal that unicorn was for a good reason, ......because it was not about the animal but the power it represented. The horn of an animal is his weapon and his pride. Our horn is Christ if we are in the faith. Many use their own horn's, and rely on their own boastings for strength, for their horn is in the power of their mouth.
There are plenty of examples of what a horn represents;
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
It symbolises authority.
and here;
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Authority again.
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
This is the false prophet. He has two horns, because he's playing a dual role. Spiritual and secular. He's a leader of both, having great authority.
And of course those with authority have the power to make a sound.
This was something that we discussed in one of our bible studies last year, in trying to figure out what animal the unicorn was. In the end, we realised it was never about the animal, but what the horn represented. It represents power, authority, kingship as confirmed in Revelation. This is what we should concentrate on more to understand God's lingo.

i figured you would have a different perspective and bust out with some scripture i had not even perceived.

i figured you would have a different perspective and bust out with some scripture i had not even perceived. I am not sure if you mean that in a good way or not?, but as I see it, the bible is it's own dictionary, and there's no way we can say for sure what a unicorn is, whether it existed or not, and goes along the same lines as the fruit eve ate. It wasn't about the fruit (as the type of fruit is not mentioned), but about the act of disobeying. The unicorn is not about the animal, but what the horn represents. Uni= one (horn). Where the word corn came from I don't know.

Where the word corn came from I don't know. Forget about the English meaning of the word, corn simply means horn.
In my language, for example, the word after uni has a connection with horn and it is similar to corn.

In the French King James, it calls the unicorn a licorne, and corne in french means horn.
