I will start us off with an easy question. Whoever answers it correctly can add the next trivia question about the kings.
Question: What is the name of King David's Father?

Question: What King made Israel sin 21 times (related in Scripture) ? I gave you a softball trivia question and you threw me a 100 mph fastball question. I definitely don't know the answer off the top of my head. I will have to do some digging unless someone gets it first.

As I was thinking about a question about the Kings, that was the first thing I thought of as a question (not 'on purpose' to be difficult)..... I was reading E.W.Bullinger's "Number in Scripture" (online pdf free) at the time.

Manasseh or Jeroboam would be my guess. thats not an official answer. i would have to read carefully before i decide. Manasseh was King over Judah, and I didn't know if that counted since he said over Israel. Jeroboam I and Jeroboam II were both Kings over Israel. The only other person that crossed my mind was Ahab, but Israel and Judah had some pretty wicked kings over the years. I am not ready to make an official guess either. Maybe Frienduff or someone else knows? It is difficult trivia question, but they don't all need to be easy. It is good to be challenged.

I did think about Ahab after i stepped away. this is a good trivia question.

Joseph, I am going to take a guess and go with Ahab, assuming we are speaking of Israel and Manasseh if it is Judah, but this is a guess.

Question: What King made Israel sin 21 times (related in Scripture) ? This is a difficult trivia question, and I only guessed at the answer. If anyone else has a guess they want to make, now is the time, before Joseph comes back and reveals the answer. You may agree with my guess of Ahab if it is Israel or Manasseh if it is Judah, or you might look outside the box at one of the other evil Kings. Hopefully Joseph won't keep us in suspense too long.

Ahab is the most obvious choice, but if not him, maybe Jeroboam, the first King of Israel after the nation split?

Ahab is the most obvious choice, but if not him, maybe Jeroboam, the first King of Israel after the nation split? Jeroboam created his own idolatrous religion so those in Israel wouldn't feel the need to return to Jerusalem to worship Jehovah and possibly desire to go back under the house of David. That sin was the downfall of Israel till the nation fell. He should have sought God for wisdom on how to deal with that potential threat, but he didn't trust the Lord. He tried to come up with his own solution, and that decision was the ruin of a once great nation.
I don't know if the answer is Jeroboam, Ahab, or someone else, but maybe Joseph will let us know later today?
