If I look a little different in this video, I just got my hair cut, and it wasn't my regular barber. He took just a little bit more off than I intended.

Return to your first love. Just what I have been thinking.
We need to do this.

Return to your first love. Just what I have been thinking. We need to do this. “...Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” - Joshua 3:5
I was on my way into work early this morning, and I had already planned on what my weekly message would be on, the same thing I was going to do the last 3 weeks before I felt I needed to change it. Suddenly, the message of returning to your first love came to me. In my head, I was getting it mixed up with being lukewarm, but I realized that it was not being lukewarm that I was supposed to talk about but our first love.
Nearly every week, when I was doing a regular weekly message at the church I used to Pastor, I would have the message impressed upon me for each service in advance. I didn't have to just pick a random topic. That changed as my time to leave drew near, and the door was closing, but it continued as long as the Lord wanted me to remain. I wasn't given the exact words to speak, but I was given the topic, and help as I put the outline together.

That is something we can easily do without realizing it is happening. Good reminders.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know if a church is really moving in the Spirit or drumming up excitement through human effort.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know if a church is really moving in the Spirit or drumming up excitement through human effort. Perhaps both can be happening at the same time.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know if a church is really moving in the Spirit or drumming up excitement through human effort. If you have a church where everyone is slothful, they will die, and if they are not Spirit led, they can't fully experience what God desires for them. What I have noticed is you have churches that are holiness doctrine, but no move of the Spirit. On the other side, you have massive praise and worship, and sinful behavior. We need holiness and relationship. We are God's hands so to speak, in this world, so we have to make busy if we are to see results.
