For myself, a gathering does not have to be in a building, and say you and someone else, are gathering together and are just 2 people, then praise the Lord.
You have to do, with what you have.
Now some may not be able to have services yet, but gather in a sense of having fellowship with each other, if that is all you can have for now then praise the Lord!!!
If all people can do for the moment, is to have fellowship online, with Narrow ways , then praise God!!!
But if in your city or town, you are able to gather wit someone, even if you are 2, I believe you should, but I would never recommend to come under the system, but rather to stay away from the system.
I would say no to gathering under denominational assemblies, or seeker sensitive, or ecumenical.
It is way too dangerous.

Some might call returning to our true grassroots, a type of movement, but in truth it is not a movement, but rather what God wants us to do.
And in truth, I do not want any part of any thing that is truly a movement, not the signs and wonders movement, not the "only gather in a building" movement, neither the "only gather in houses " movement.
No extremes.
I just want Jesus, and want to let him lead me, that is it.

Fancy buildings, poor buildings, or even random outdoor meetings. Where God is?!
The answer is: He can be anywhere.
“...For the Lord does not see as man sees;
for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” - 1 Samuel 16:7
The Lord is where sincere hearts are, it doesn't matter if it is a mansion or a poor tent in a 3rd world country.
There is no partiality with the Lord.
“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” - John 7:24
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” - Matthew 18:20
Conclusion:
“...In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.” - Acts 10:34-35

the mega church age is dead. little churches are sprouting up all over in my area. people who care about doing it Gods way. and this is a threat to their lifestyle. let God be Glorified, praised, and lifted High. will they come to evangelize me? i think not. they are busy trying to have enough faith for themselves to make their own way. but if they do come my way i will sure fill their ear with truth. they may not like it. but thats ok... i wont go to their churches. I promise.

Gods people are coming out. and they do not desire huge stadiums and hundreds or thousands of members. they want a small group where they know one another, and they share life. real fellowship.
can a shepherd know thousands of people and tend to the flock? not gonna happen. even if he "deputizes" many.

This is the development of their attack on non-conformists. I mean Christians who drop out of the mainstream system because they want to return to how the apostles did things — small home gatherings, no big budgets, group participation, etc. Church leadership has turned against that whole lifestyle. First they said if you leave church you’ll backslide. Then the non-conformists started to gather in homes. Church leaders said they were doing it out of pride and rebellion. Over time the talking point became, they reject the mainstream church because Satan is using them to attack it. Finally at the end, the message will be, don’t listen to non-conformists in home churches because they are not even saved. There are many who feel a very big condemnation in them, if they leave a denominational assembly , and they have been made to feel this way. And that they will backslide if they do. And I truly believe it is the devil deceiving them in this, in fact God wants them to leave the denominational system, and I know and hear of people leaving the system, but then get slack in their walk, an as a result go back into the system, that is another trap people get into. What people need, is to have a truly dedicated walk with God, and to truly seek after what pleases him, and not be lead by their emotions. Emotions deceive many. I think that many because of being fed bad spiritual food, and not feeding properly on the manna themselves, it gets people to depend upon what the pastor says, or upon what the system says, and when they drop out of the system, because it is so structured in them, they feel that they are backsliding, and thus go back to the system. I do believe that if a Christian leaves a church and tries to go it alone, there is a big chance they will backslide. It is hard to live the life when there is no support group helping encourage you. At the same time, churches with a bad message can be even more destructive. The main thing is, we all need fellowship with other Christians, and I don't mean having get togethers where we spend all of our time talking about politics, sports, movies, etc. I am not necessarily saying we can't do that, but we need genuine fellowship with other Christians where we talk about God and the things of God. This will become even more important as we see the day of the Lord approaching, as sin will increase, and so will deceptions.

Oh it is harder alone, and i thank God that I do have fellowship for it is a need, and what we talk most of the the time, is about God and the bible. It is just natural for me and my Christian friends to talk the word, it is the main thing we talk about.

When we use to be in denominational assemblies, most of the people who called themselves Christians, we found were hard to talk to about God, and some thought of us as strange for wanting to talk God so much.
And that has never left us.
I thank God for the good friends God has gave us, in were we live, it is easy to talk of the things of God with them, in fact we do it all the time, that is when we meet.
