This passage has really encouraged me.
Ezekiel 18:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV) 21 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. 23 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?
For a while, I felt that because I had sinned as a believer, God would condemn me to hell.
I felt that He saw me differently. But reading the Bible more has helped me understand that God's true desire is that we repent and pursue righteousness--- not punish us forever.
Oh, praise the Lord for his Mercy and grace! His Word gives me peace in my heart.

exactly . As we see in HIS message also to the seven churches . GOD spoke of all the good things they did , and HE warned against the evil things they did . And the summation , REPENT or else . GOD truly does desire that if one is in error they repent and not that they perish . Its just if they don't repent , THEY WILL . And GOD KNOWS that TOO . SO HE always warns REPENT for why will ye die . We have to just take HIM at HIS WORD and realize that EVERY WORD , from promise to warning IS GOOD FOR OUR SOUL and let us HEED HIM at all times . This too is why JESUS set the pattern for correction and the apostels taught it . We have to have great hope in HIS PROMISES and all the while we understand the dire importance of also HIS warnings . Many have forgotten the REPENT WORD . and that is not good . FOR GOD knows that all who err and don't repent , HE knows that end is not good at all . SO let us , as faithful children with great HOPE IN HIM , HEED HIS SPIRIT , feast on the BIBLE and HEED all things JESUS taught and the apostels taught .
