To me I have mixed thoughts concerning this corona virus stuff.
Now of course all churches that gather in buildings, have been pretty much ordered to shut down, and it used to be that here in Ontario that their should be no gatherings more than 50, now it is, there being no gatherings more than 5.
Of course they mean any type of gathering whatever it be, but this does not include our immediate families of course.
Now I have been looking at articles which talked about church history, and calamities of the past.
And in the past, even the past 2000 years, the church has faced many calamities, and I mean calamities of plagues and viruses and so on.
And many times especially in early church history, the church never ran away from the plagues, but helped people in the midst of the plague, putting even their own lives at risks, which is what I read.
They still ministered to the people the gospel, and many times the gospel prospered in times of viruses and plagues.
And it was attested in a certain article, that in that time which was somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd century, the cities which were more considered Christian, had half less people who contracted the viruses or diseases whatever the case was, than your average city.
And even in our time I have heard that some Chinese Christians have still been preaching the gospel to even corona virus people, and showing them love, and that many still gather in church meetings.
Now I believe in obeying the government as much as possible, but I also believe in being led of the Spirit, and continuing to share the gospel.
I still believe in gathering as the Lord says to do.
And however people decide to do their services that is up to them, but man we need to fear the Lord, AND OBEY WHAT HE SAYS FOR THEREIN THERE IS BLESSING.
Now if people decide to have services online, and people connect that way that is them, but I still believe that in any situation, that in person gatherings is possible.
Now of course we do not tempt the Lord our God, by purposely touching someone who has corona, to try to prove a point, or to show that we will not catch it, for that is foolish, but also let us not let the fear of the world enter our hearts.
We have hope in Christ.
And that is what the world needs, but they have to see their need for God, but nevertheless let us share Jesus and show them that he is the answer.
One thing that the world tends not to see as essential is the spiritual side of things, to go somewhere to get groceries is considered essential, but not the spiritual, which is even more essential.
I have even read an article which mentions, that church gatherings are essential, which this was said of Brazil, how they consider church gatherings essential, and that is the only nation I heard say this so far, and whether it will stay that way, I do not know.
One thing I know is that the word of God says this:
Pro 4:20-22 (20) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. (21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. (22) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
I do not know how much we realize that there is tremendous healing in giving heed to God's word, even to all our flesh, and of course the soul and spirit.
God is good, let us never lose the fear of the Lord.

Here is a link to the article I read: foreignpolicy.com/2020/03/13/christianity-epidemics-2000-years-should-i-still-go-to-church-coronavirus/Now I do not say that I agree with every single thing that is in this article, but I do agree with a good chunk of things. And here is a few exerts, from this article: ("...The modern world has suddenly become reacquainted with the oldest traveling companion of human history: existential dread and the fear of unavoidable, inscrutable death. No vaccine or antibiotic will save us for the time being. Because this experience has become foreign to modern people, we are, by and large, psychologically and culturally underequipped for the current coronavirus pandemic.......the distinctive approach to epidemics Christians have adopted over time is worth dusting off.......The Christian response to plagues begins with some of Jesus’s most famous teachings: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”; “Love your neighbor as yourself”; “Greater love has no man than this, that he should lay down his life for his friends.” Put plainly, the Christian ethic in a time of plague considers that our own life must always be regarded as less important than that of our neighbor.During plague periods in the Roman Empire, Christians made a name for themselves. Historians have suggested that the terrible Antonine Plague of the 2nd century, which might have killed off a quarter of the Roman Empire, led to the spread of Christianity, as Christians cared for the sick and offered an spiritual model whereby plagues were not the work of angry and capricious deities but the product of a broken Creation in revolt against a loving God.But the more famous epidemic is the Plague of Cyprian, named for a bishop who gave a colorful account of this disease in his sermons. Probably a disease related to Ebola, the Plague of Cyprian helped set off the Crisis of the Third Century in the Roman world. But it did something else, too: It triggered the explosive growth of Christianity. ......while the church historian Pontianus recounts how Christians ensured that “good was done to all men, not merely to the household of faith.” The sociologist and religious demographer Rodney Stark claims that death rates in cities with Christian communities may have been just half that of other cities....") And of course simple things like washing our hands is good as well.

dig this craziness... in my area they are closing businesses and making people stay home unless you are deemed an "essential personnel" gas stations, healthcare, fire dept., grocery stores, etc. but... but did you know beer is being considered an essential beverage and them breweries aint shutting down. beer! beer? seriously... beer? now dont get me wrong, i dont hold anything against popping a top on a cold one, or drinking a glass of wine... but i do not think its essential. can anyone help me understand why it is essential? Unless you are deemed essential personnel . Let us take a ponder at this for a second . NOW , we all know that we need food and such . BUT how much more essential IS THE WORD OF GOD to a starving world . for though we do need to eat , food only sustains our physical body , BUT THE BREAD OF HEAVEN , NOW THAT GIVETH LIFE unto all who partake of that bread . So i say , the GOSPLE is ESSENTIAL at all TIMES . It is written that man shall not live by bread alone , OH BUT BY EVERY WORD OF GOD . IN THE SON IS LIFE and without HIM there is NO LIFE , but death and the second death . SO i got some ESSENTIAL and i mean DIRE ESSENTIAL ITEMS NUMBER ONE . FOOD , MY WORDS are SPIRIT and THEY ARE LIFE . NUMBER TWO . DRINK . DRINK YE OF the CISTERN OF LIFE FOUND ONLY IN JESUS . For who so ever shall eat of MY FLESH and DRINK OF MY BLOOD is saved , is a partaker of HIM . THAT is our NECESSITIES . AKA................JESUS IS OUR NECESSITY . NOW hands up and let the praises begin to FLOW OUT UNTO THE HOLY CHRIST JESUS . WORTHY , WORTHY , WORTHY is the LAMB that was slain to recieve all riches , all honor , wisdom , praises and thanksgivings .

Amen to what you said Frienduff, and of course obedience to the word is a necessity, for it can bring health to all our flesh.
And I think during this Corona virus time, God will use this so to test our faith, for some it will break them, and for others it will make them.
It is a make it or break it time.
Some will depart from the faith as a result, and others will draw closer to God as a result.

I heard from my friend, and my wife about the actual news showing our prime minister Justin Trudeau, saying that the quarantine issue will not be removed until we get a vaccine.
Well that video that I put, was talking about that very thing, will vaccines become mandatory??? And what will be in these vaccines???
