I get emotional. Why? Why is the Lord so good?
My dear unsaved friend from the secular forum is reading the gospels and loves Jesus and his teachings.
She desires to be more open about her faith to our mutual friend who is unsaved.
The humility and hunger for God, her confession of Jesus, are all encouraging signs that have me very proud.
Like I'm the matron of honor at a wedding. I'm so proud, so happy. I have been waiting for this for years.
I would talk to the Lord about her. I knew I couldn't give up.
Praise the Lord. She calls herself a Christian Socialist? Lol.I don't even care! With Jesus, everything is alright and we are full steam ahead!

From what you said, it sounds like the Lord is working on her, but I could not tell if she had a genuine conversion. Did she accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior? Regardless, it is great how God is working in her life and we need to pray for her and everyone you are witnessing to. Keep at it. This is wonderful news.

It's a joy to share this. I feel pretty confident because when I first became a Christian, I still had a lot of doubts about all of the Bible being true, evolution, etc. It took time of me digging to get to a fully Christian worldview, and that of course changed my political views as well. She's got some dust from being in the world. But she's looking very wooly  |

Praise the Lord! Let us keep praying for her. Sometimes it’s a gently, gently conversion, as some people need to process their former opinions and worldly beliefs as Jesus becomes more and more central in their lives and He filters out what their previous beliefs were. Now she is hopefully on the road with her new life with Jesus and she keeps reading that bible, Jesus will show her that He does not want or require her to be a Christian socialist. He wants her to purely be a follower and believer of Himself.
Again, great steps forward. Praise Jesus!

My dear friend is in a process of asking me questions. She's in her Bible but also hearing things from other Christians.
A few obstacles include the "all paths to God" myth, and belief that you can never stop sinning.
I was quick to try and explain the biblical perspective. I don't want her to think what I thought and have a fruitless walk with God.
The standard is high --- every sin must go. But it's possible, required, and worth every sacrifice.
