THINK SERIOUSLY
The present trial is nothing compared to real persecution! When soldiers are killing civilians in the streets and going from house to house to find Christians to purge them from society that my brethren; is real persecution. A season of home detention for the purpose of staying off a pandemic is not persecution. Facebook is flooded with live streaming of the gospel. Freedom of speech has not been abrogated. Let’s give praise to God that people around the world are turning to God through the present situation. Let us morn with those who morn and rejoice with those who rejoice for God sits upon the throne in heaven ruling the affairs of man. Regardless of the conspiracies which some are real and some are not. They all fall under the purview of God’s will. The arguments among God’s people are divisive and not unifying. Pride has come into the camp and many are drunk with it intoxication. Those who’ve drank its poison wine; now demand allegiance or they excommunicate you without regard.
O that the body of Christ would embrace the hour of opportunity! There is nothing that befalls us that our God does not know. Yet many rail and rant on and on against their brethren because of their so-called lack of faith. The enemy is neither flesh nor blood; the enemies are principalities, we wrestle against evil powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Sinful men are subject to the perverse wicked powers of darkness. They need Jesus! When people see Christians divide over who has more faith or who is keeping bible faith it reflects badly upon Jesus.
When your teeth are on edge and ego has eaten away your humility in the presence of a crooked and perverse generation; haven’t you crossed over to the other side in your pride and arrogance? All the railing and ranting and belittling accusations will not win one soul to Jesus. It may win one a following of those like-minded; but it will cost the Kingdom souls. It is a time to have the collective mind of Christ and to seize this opportunity to witness the Kingdom to lost souls and to strengthen our bonds by praying one for another and encouraging one another. Animosity and antagonism are an atrocity to pure Christian faith: let us grow in the character of Christ. This pandemic has an end and for a season normality will again be in season for the purposes of God to be brought about. Let us seek to please the Lord;
(3) Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
(4) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
(5) Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
(6) And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Psalms 37:3-6 KJV
Brethren; let’s keep the faith and the faith will keep us.
