This is a short exhortation (and rebuke) by the late preacher Leonard Ravenhill. I am not a follower of preachers, only an objective appreciater of God's truth in good preaching, and Mr. Ravenhill had some good things to say in this message. I hope that it will stir your hearts to action and stoke your zeal for Jesus Christ, and that it will not run off like rainwater on rock---that you will not be like the people of Israel who came to Ezekiel to hear the word of the Lord, of whom God said to Ezekiel:
"As for you, son of man, your people who talk together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, say to one another, each to his brother, 'Come, and hear what the word is that comes from the LORD.'
And they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear what you say but they will not do it; for with lustful talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain.
And behold, you are to them like one who sings lustful songs with a beautiful voice and plays well on an instrument, for they hear what you say, but they will not do it." (Ezekiel 33:30-32)

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:12,13)
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works...encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24,25)
