We had an interesting day Tuesday. We had 2 OSAS followers come here attempting to spread their doctrine. Me and Giller were contending with one in the Shoutbox till very late, and we would reference scripture, and rather than address most of what we said, he would interrogate us and repeat argument he heard in his church. I allowed this to go on till he returned early this morning making accusations. They go like this.
Do you ever watch tv? Do you ever jaywalk? Do you ever have a bad thought? Do you ever lose your cool and say "Oh fudge!?" I did give my own examples for effect so you get the idea. Worshippers of OSAS (Oh-Sass), do not believe God means any of those things he says about obeying scripture. They reject Jesus' teachings. They claim Paul's warnings do not apply to Christians. As the leader of one OSAS cult said, "If we go by the Bible, nobody would be saved. That is really what they believe. That is why you cannot reason with them using scripture. Many of them openly attack quotes from the Bible in the New Testament. At the same time, they claim to believe the Bible is inerrant.
I am so thankful we took a stand against OSAS early on. The more I know about it, the more dangerous I see it is. I am fine with discussing this topic with someone who actually stays with and believes the Bible as written, with the KJV being our standard, but if all someone is going to do is argue nobody can live right and accuse people that say otherwise of things like being full of pride and trying to save themselves, they can expect to be banned. I had to ban 2 people this week. Stop with the accusations and interrogations to try to prove all are reprobates so OSAS must be true and actually discuss scripture, or expect to be banned. I will not tolerate that here.

Yes, the deception is great - not just about the specific so-called doctrine of osas, but the necessity to be outside of Jesus to believe osas, with all of the other thoughts, beliefs, actions, and life styles/ thinking processes along with it. (identical ? or very similarly with rcc/roman catholicism/ ecumenicalism, etc ) The whole world is immersed and promoting such errors every day, overwhelmingly ....... (like the flood did physically?)

It is possible that there are saved people that believe OSAS, in that they believe they are secure in their salvation, but that is not the kind of people I am talking about. I am talking about those ones that come into places and accuse people of being sinful, prideful, trying to save self, things like that, while ignoring scripture.

Possible, yes. However, when pro or con, a doctrine like that, is carried the way the religious leaders who are opposed to Jesus carried their doctrines, no matter which side they are on concerning only the doctrine - pro or con - they are on the wide road to destruction. When such is likewise carrying the man-made doctrine of osas, and with it the attitude(s) of the flesh, the world, or the enemy, not Jesus, and also (often?) the other man-made or 'of the flesh' doctrines as or like attachments to the osas (as frequently seen in any church gone astray - not just one false teaching, but 2 or more false teachings, frequently associated together with osas type teachings).... then it is .... more evident, more convincing, 'supporting' recognizing that it is a bad tree, with bad fruit(bad teachings)... and as for being outside Jesus - the bad trees are outside Jesus, the good trees are inside Jesus... (e.g. abiding in the vine) .... and if someone is abiding inside Jesus, and Jesus' Word is abiding in them, then eventually, God Willing, all those bad teachings fall off, fall away, are corrected, so the person, the child, the sheep following Jesus' Voice, no longer is carrying a dead body around their own neck any more - it is removed from them , sheer amazing GRACE IN JESUS ! (A GOOD / PERFECT SHEPHERD as JESUS IS, He cleans up the sheep, as He/ the Father's Word/ cleaned up the permanent disciples-apostles-born again ones) and Jesus does not leave such false teachings festering inside a person who belongs to Jesus, polluting their spirit, soul, or mind, nor does Jesus continue / continually/ leave such false teachings within the assembly of Ekklesia any more than a healthy or healing body of a person allows a cancer to continue growing in any part , when the healthy or healing body is working right.

One problem is when new Christians wind up joining churches filling their head with the OSAS lie. If they don't read the Bible, they never learn they were deceived.

...those ones that come into places and accuse people of being sinful, prideful, trying to save self, things like that, while ignoring scripture.
“...For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” - Luke 6:45
People who are trapped in OSAS just because they want to be comfortable in their sins need to wake up.
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” - Mark 8:35
“...those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” - Galatians 5:24
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” - Galatians 5:25
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” - 1 John 2:6

if we cant go by the bible then no one can be saved, either scripture is God breathed or not... either God told the truth or he lied. they csall God a liar.
God will give us every tool and ability to live holy if we would ask seek and knock... if we would train ourselves.
to say we cant go by scripture translates into we cant trust what God has said. this is evidence they have invented their own religion. they are trying to make their own way... which is the very accusation they hurl... quite ironic is it not?

...
God will give us every tool and ability to live holy if we would ask seek and knock... if we would train ourselves.
... “...With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:26
And I confirm this is true. That is why we are called His witnesses.
“...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” - Acts 1:8
It is He who empowers us to walk just as He walked.
And I am sure that there is no impossible thing to those who believe. No sin is too hard to be freed from.
But you must believe.
“...If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” - Mark 9:23
Again, I can confirm this is true because the Lord did it to me.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself for me.” - Galatians 2:20
Blessings!
