Hello brothers and sisters,
Just wanted to ask for prayer. I got into a little fight with a young rooster and he kept charging at me....I had to grab a stick to defend myself and whacked him with it, but I sprained my left index finger in the process. So if you could pray for my finger to heal up, I would greatly appreciate it! thank you all
blessings,
FHiz

That is why you were having to type with one hand? I knew you mentioned having hurt your finger, but I did not see this prayer request. Certainly I will pray for your finger to be healed. A sprain can be very painful.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I have had a severe sprain like that in a finger and also my wrist. Depending on what you are going to be doing around the farm, you need to be careful with what I am going to suggest, but I found the only way to let my sprain heal was to immobilize it by wrapping it up where it would not move. The more you move it, the longer the sprain will remain. The only problem is, you have to be careful that you do not re-injure it worse because it cannot move. I know those kind of sprains can handicap you.

H john, yes i have tried to keep it wrapped, but i found that i van use comfrey and plantain and mashed it up with peppermint oil and clove oil, wrapped it with saran wrap and it brought a lot of the pain and swelling down... going to continue severl xs a day. but wow, it really is painful

H john, yes i have tried to keep it wrapped, but i found that i van use comfrey and plantain and mashed it up with peppermint oil and clove oil, wrapped it with saran wrap and it brought a lot of the pain and swelling down... going to continue severl xs a day. but wow, it really is painful I had a sprain years ago when I was still in a bowling league, and it hurt bad every time I released the ball. I had to finish out the season, so I continued to play through the pain, but it messed up my scores. I did get some relief by wrapping it up real tight with medical tape before bowling. The continuous use did slow the healing.
More recently, a few years ago, I fell on icy pavement and sprained my wrist real bad, where moving it caused a severe pain in my arm. I had to wrap my wrist up tight for a couple of weeks, because I had to keep working. I have done the same thing with sprained ankles. The quickest way to recover is to completely rest the injury, but in the real world, who can do that?
