Heb 10:25
(25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Here it speaks of the assembling of ourselves together.
Of course God wants for us to gather for the right reasons.
It is not about gathering for the sake of gathering, otherwise you might end up gathering at a place that is loads full of false doctrine which will not profit you at all.
And we need to get out of those places.
And if you cannot find a decent assembly, well coming online to the meetings at Narrow way can be an alternative, until you have a good assembly, although if possible, you can do both.
And all you need is 2 or 3.
But in saying this, I do believe that God's ultimate intention is for gathering in person, and the bible says that there can be fullness of joy when we see each other face to face.
In fact seeing each other in person can cause for things like the fruit of the Spirit to work in you in a greater way, such as patience working in you towards this person, or rejoicing with a person together, or needing to show some type of compassion towards such and such.
But it is easier to not be confronted to apply things if you never see someone.
But now I want to get to what I really was headed towards.
Heb 10:25
(25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Notice what it says, as ye see the day approaching.
And there may be a few things that God had in mind, but I truly believe in a big way that it is referring to the rapture of the church, that we ought to be gathering so much the more as we see the time of the rapture approaching, and in order for us to know that that day is approaching, there has to be signs that tells us that it is approaching, and I find that there are many signs that tell us this.
And notice one interesting thing that is said, it says not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, well what has the government done through covid?
They have virtually stopped in a big degree, the gathering of the people of the church, together.
Yet God says do not forsake it, and is it a coincidence that God would have that written, yet we are in the time of the day approaching, and this all of a sudden happens?
Now churches may eventually, gradually, assemble together to whatever degree, but will this push for online services, eventually bring many to a point of them seeing no necessity to gather in person, since you can listen to a message online?
I believe that a desensitization in this realm is happening as well.
