68% Of Unemployed Workers In The U.S. “Are Eligible For Payments That Are Greater Than Their Lost Earnings”Can anyone explain how we are going to motivate unemployed workers to go back to work when most of them can actually make more money camped on their sofas watching Netflix?
Over the past couple of months, 36.5 million Americans have filed new claims for unemployment benefits, and Congress understandably wanted to do something to address this unprecedented spike in unemployment.
But by giving all of these unemployed workers a repeating 600 dollar bonus on top of existing unemployment benefits, Congress has actually created a very powerful incentive for Americans to be unemployed and to stay unemployed for as long as the bonuses last.

Very few people are talking about it, and even fewer are bothering to object, but by borrowing and spending so much money our politicians are essentially feeding America’s financial future into a wood chipper. It took from the founding of our country all the way to 1981 before the U.S. national debt reached one trillion dollars. Incredibly, we just added more than a trillion dollars to our national debt in less than a month. On April 5th, we were 23.9 trillion dollars in debt, and by May 4th we were 25 trillion dollars in debt. Fear of the coronavirus has caused nearly all of our politicians to suddenly become socialists, and we are being told that trillions more in spending may be coming.

This is a serious problem, likely designed to destroy the economy. I believe it is a scheme by globalists.

I have continued to work right on through this corona virus scare, but I do get your point. I am having to work hard to earn my paycheck, while others get paid to sit at home and do nothing. Personally, I am still thankful to be able to go to work each day. When you sit around too long, it can be hard to return to work. Look how it is after a long vacation. I am wondering how many people will be effected in a negative way as a result of this down time, where they will not want to return to working a job? As far as the economy goes, our leaders just have not learned that there will come a day of reckoning for their out of control borrowing and spending.
I do think some are intentionally trying to crash the economy, but there are others that really have no idea of the harm they are doing, and they are just utterly incompetent. Everyone needs to return to work, provided they still have a job to return to, and we need to do what we can to undo as much of the damage as possible. While I do not believe that the corona virus was the fault of our politicians, the damage done to the economy through the forced lock downs is their fault.
