Born and raised
The eastern side
Of America
Eve gave her cries to the Father
"I need you. I need you"
Money talks
Each little seed is a breath of life.
Eve tasted death and it claimed her right
To freedom
To freedom
The first Lady
All of her prayers are met in you
The Son of a curse in a barren room.
The handmaiden, Mary.
We said yes in faith The Father called your name Adam must go forth Lazarus reborn
Glory
All of the earth is filled with joy
Knowing that Mary's baby boy
Inherits the promise.
Inherit the promise
REVERSE

That is an interesting poem. Do you have an interpretation? It's a song I wrote reflecting on our obsession with money in excess in America. The reason why greed is such an awful sin is because generations of dead human image bearers are the reason we even have land. I am a creationist. I believe in a literal Adam and Eve. Christ is the second Adam. Mary represents the Temple of God. She was only a young teenage virgin when she said yes to God's will and became pregnant with Jesus. You can see her heart for God clearly in the book of Luke. The Father loves the world (John 3:16). His bride so to speak is the whole of Creation.

Without there being a literal Adam and Eve, much of the New Testament makes no sense. I am a creationist too. Thank you for taking the time to explain the song. You make a lot of good points.
