THE LORD’S SIDE
The line has been drawn; on which side will you stand? Wow! There are some things in life which give us pause! We see or read or hear of and it just floors us! When we see colleagues compromising truth and supporting things which scripture plainly proclaims is taboo or unacceptable in a saint of God it has a tendency to affect us emotionally and unsettle us spiritually. Today around the world we are living in unstable times and many in Christendom have forgotten the foundation of their faith in these volatile times. When I look around me in this world I see hatred, hurting, and hectoring.
I am witnessing ethnos against ethnos and an onslaught of degradation and destruction because of it. Many are articulating a cause against injustice while they perform and advance the most despicable injustices themselves; declaring themselves to be wise but their ignorance is apparent and their actions are deplorable to the God of Creation and have become fools in his sight. Yet in our God there is solace and sanctuary. Those that stay true to God and his word and spend time in his presence will find joy unspeakable and full of glory.
(3) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
(4) Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV
I am departing from those who support the present violence in the name of injustice; I will dwell in the presence of the Most High God. I will rebuke the ungodly whom wear the veneer of Christ yet underneath they harbor hatred and prejudice. I will love my fellow man and pray for them in hopes the blindness of sin will fall like scales off their eyes. I have no use for those who follow the path of evil and justify the wicked. But in the Lord I find peace and calm for my soul. Some declare a false narrative and even call this wave of crime a move of God; I was confounded because I had respect; but now I can only shake my head in shame. Depart from me you workers of iniquity who justify the wicked and scorn the righteous for standing on the truth! Instead of standing on the word of God; un-forgiveness filled your heart and your cross over to the wickedness and the hostile and violent people; you took up arms against God’s anointed and declared yourself as one who supports the killing of innocent people. Go away I will have no part with you! Go away I will have no part with you! As for me I will follow on to know the Lord concerning his will and ways and put the past in the past.
(10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
(11) If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
(12) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
(13) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
(14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
(15) Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
(16) Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Philippians 3:10-16 KJV
The emphatic question is how can two walk together; unless they walk in agreement concerning the things of God. One cannot subscribe to and attach themselves to ungodliness denying the power of God. How can I be alive to the world’s ways as a partaker joining myself to wickedness and know Christ in the power of the resurrection, joining in his sufferings, and being conformed to his death. Paul says “but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before”. I will Paul will press toward to mark and for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!
(17) Therefore "come out from their midst and be separate," says the Lord, "and do not touch what is unclean, and I will welcome you,
(18) and I will be a father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me," says the all-powerful Lord.
(1) Therefore since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of body and spirit, accomplishing holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 6:17-7:1 LEB
If you support the aimless and hate filled bloodshed; the blood is on your hands! When you support the hatred that is spewed out of the mouths of the ungodly you are in fact; hating by proxy. In short if you agree with you’re just as guilty as the perpetrator!
(28) And just as they had refused to continue to have a full knowledge of God, so it was to utterly worthless minds that God gave them up, for them to do things which should not be done.
(29) Their hearts overflowed with all sorts of dishonesty, mischief, greed, malice. They were full of envy and murder, and were quarrelsome, crafty, and spiteful.
(30) They were secret backbiters, open slanderers; hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful; inventors of new forms of sin, disobedient to parents, destitute of common sense,
(31) Faithless to their promises, without natural affection, without human pity.
(32) In short, though knowing full well the sentence which God pronounces against actions such as theirs, as things which deserve death, they not only practice them, but even encourage and applaud others who do them. Romans 1:28-32 WNT
Brethren we are called to be harnessed to Jesus; his yoke is easy and his burden is light. I refuse to harness myself to the world or its organizations. I stand independent of the world and will only agree with what is good and godly concerning the workings of God within the world. When someone supports godless and abominable organizations they’re standing in opposition to God. Brethren: as for me and my spouse we will serve the Lord! Selah!
