WHERE IS RIGHTEOUSNESS
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. (Psalms 111:10 KJV) We are instructed that the beginning of real wisdom is to fear the Lord! The word for fear in this verse is defined as both moral reverence and dreadful fear; which is correct concerning he who can not only kill the body but also cast it into hell. It bids me to ask in our Christianity where is righteousness? Are we righteous because we do right or because of Christ? Who of us walks one hundred percent in the Spirit in total obedience to the mind of Christ? Are we the very thing we despise in others; hypocrisy? Let us look to Jesus more and much less to ourselves; as guides of what is righteous in the sight of God. Faith is dynamic when agape love is its driving force. The world dwells in the dark wisdom of Lucifer; but the light of God dwells in his people. However; when pride comes in the form of self-righteousness; it can deceive even some of the most spiritually inclined people. Pride steps into our hearts with pretended humility; but soon develops into a fierce deception of flaming self-exaltation which cannot be pleaded with or approached in negotiation. Pride genders haughtiness and inordinate feeling superiority which belittles others who do not measure up. Reason is trampled underfoot when pride comes; and the self-deception continues until God can intervene and humble that person. Don’t tell me how righteous you are while you’re brewing to the point of boiling in your superiority! Real righteousness is found in a real humility before God; faith in God, love for God, and fear of God all produce real righteousness that can stand against anything that brings insult to God. We walk in the Spirit pleasing God in everything we do. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. (Psalms 112:1 KJV) Blessings in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Bishop D. Ray Ritchie

Concerning righteousness this is one of my favorite verses:
Hos 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
Perhaps you noticed that the word righteousness is found 2 times in the above verse. in english. in hebrew the two words are different. the first righteousness is:
H6666 צְדָקָה tsedâqâh tsed-aw-kaw' From H6663; rightness (abstractly), subjectively (rectitude), objectively (justice), morally (virtue) or figuratively (prosperity): - justice, moderately, right (-eous) (act, -ly, -ness). Total KJV occurrences: 157
this word here is used in the sence of the justice part of the definition... in the OT Justice and judge are often synonymous. what its really saying here is that we practice righteousness by judging our own self. is how we live sinful or do we live in a way that pleases God? now the second word righteousness in Hosea 10:12 is:
H6664 צֶדֶק tsedeq tseh'-dek From H6663; the right (natural, moral or legal); also (abstractly) equity or (figuratively) prosperity: - X even, (X that which is altogether) just (-ice), ([un-]) right (-eous) (cause, -ly, -ness). Total KJV occurrences: 118
now if we read carefully in the verse this righteousness is something God will "rain upon you" so this righteousness is His and He gives it to us. its imputed.
another way to say it is when we apply ourselves to live right Jesus will cause or bring about rightness in us.
1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psa 85:9-13 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Pride goeth before a fall, and we might as well face it, it's something that tends to rise up in all our flesh, until it gets disarmed by being crucified to death.
How did Moses the glorious and powerful grandson of a Pharaoh become the most humble man on earth? The Lord dealt with him in the wilderness until his whole self-concept had changed and his true but new confession became something like, "I have never been anything great, I have never been anything but a worm and a sinner."
Exo 4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
What a complete 180 degree change from what he had been:
Act 7:22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.
It reminds me of someone else who had fled into the wilderness and came to a similar realization and confession:
1Ki 19:4 while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, LORD,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.”
I dont' believe Elijah was just speaking out of discouragement, but it was a realization that his trials had brought him to. And the Lord responded to his humility.
Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Who falls on the Rock will be broken.

TO depart from evil , to hate the wicked way . When JESUS changes , HE CHANGES a heart indeed . LET the GLORIOUS LORD be praised Sister . Throw those hands UP , LEAP up as high as you possibly can , and just PRAISE THE HOLY LORD .

Who falls on the Rock will be broken. Yes indeed . Now its time for questions and answers . Today let the peoples examine me . How do you believe i see myself . Just pray and answer . How does ol frienduff see himself . As one who is great , or as one who was the worst of many and even now the only goodness HE has cometh FROM GOD . Ponder before you answer . Lord willing tomorrow we may examine another . Me thinks its good that brethren examine themselves and one another . So the questoin is . What do you see in me . May all freely answer .

I think it's really for each of us to examine our selves brother. Do you mind clarifying what you believe happens when we come to faith in Christ....do you believe there is no more work to be done on or in the believer's heart and life after that? Or put another way, do you see the Christian walk as a process and pilgrimmage of growth and sanctification, or do you see it as something that is completed the moment we come to faith in Christ? I'm not sure whether we see this the same way or not.
