GOD HAS NOT FORSAKEN HIS PEOPLE!
(18) Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
(19) He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
(20) You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:18-20 WEB
This morning I woke up with hope firmly planted in the depths of my heart. There is a dynamic to faith that restores the peace of God which cannot be shaken out by the circumstances of the world around us. I declare to you today that I am a remnant child of God called for such a time as this. There is a fresh wind in the spiritual realm which is blowing a refreshing presence of Holy fire to purify those who will hear and heed the voice of God in this pivotal spiritual moment. God will again open the deaf ears of the spiritually deaf in this time to understand the times in which we are living so that he may use us to the greatest capacity to bring a host of unbelievers into the Kingdom of God.
It’s not a time to stand down but to stand up and declare the word of the Lord to a perverted and untoward generation which has lost its way! It’s time to pray for compassion to win souls that are dead in trespass and sin to the Lord. It’s time to preach to those who have become dead, dormant, and difficult in their backslidden lukewarm condition! “He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea”. I tell you of a truth that God is ready to pardon and ready to restore! Come I say and be renewed in the Spirit and restored in his Grace! We are here to change and preserve the world for Christ and prepare all for the Lord’s return.
(13) “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
(14) You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
(15) Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
(16) Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16 WEB
Brethren it is not time to default to the flesh and the carnal way of doing things; “for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty unto God”. Where is the faith that pushes us to bend the knees and pray from the heart and believe in our hearts; “with men things are impossible, but with God nothing shall be impossible”. Will you continue to walk in your own finite wisdom confined by your limited mind and move by your emotions or will you seek the infinite wisdom of God and move by his Spirit? God has not forsaken his people; his people have forsaken him.
“Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.” Isaiah 58:2
The Lord is ready to swipe away the hypocrisy of his people that have pretended to love the truth in righteousness. He will rekindle the fire and the passion that was once in the core of their being and cause them to walk in the wisdom of his Spirit. So many have walked away in their hearts from the Lord yet put on airs as if they’ve never left him. Our souls are naked before him and he knows our thoughts altogether. Yet the Lord is offering a reprieve from that hypocrisy now and will restore us in his righteousness to do the work of God in these trying times.
(11) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
(12) You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
(13) You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
(14) I will be found by you,” says Yahweh, “and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says Yahweh. I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.” Jeremiah 29:11-14 WEB
Hypocrisy has carried you away to the captivity of habitual sin; yet your God has left the ninety and nine to seek you out and restore you. He stretches out his hand to retrieve you because his love and compassion and mercy is alive in this hour for the restoration of his people.
So many have lost their first love and are so tangled up in the world that they’ve become bitter and cynical concerning their faith. They have allowed the lust of things of the world to carry them away from the will and word of God. Yet; the time for restoration is at hand because of the unwavering love of our Lord. God has not forsaken his people; his people have forsaken him. Come; I say and seek his face he will be found when your whole heart is in the seeking! Where is your hope? Is it in a mere human? Where is your faith? Is it in a political system? These things are sure to pass away just as the body grows old and gives up the ghost; surely these things shall have their end! Where shall you be when the world fails you? What hope do we truly have in the world if it is not the hope of the resurrection and the eternal kingdom of God?
A Holy Wind is blowing to stoke the embers of Holy Fire to fill God’s people with the Holy Spirit! O Lord stoke the embers into a flame! O Lord stoke the embers of repentance that brings renewal, revival, and restoration to your people! O Lord stoke the fire in me and renew all that has faded and open the doors of opportunity to win the lost and revive the lukewarm, and edify the body of Christ! In Jesus Name! Amen!
