And this will we do if God permit . For it is impossible for those who WERE ONCE enlightend and HAVE TASTED of the heavenly gift and were MADE PARTAKERS of the HOLY GHOST , and have tasted of the WORLD to come , if they shall FALL AWAY to renew them again unto REPENTANCE.
For if we sin willfully AFTER that we have received the KNOWLEDGE of TRUTH , ther remains NO MORE SACRIFCE for Sins.
Follow peace with all men ,and HOLINESS , without which NO MAN shall SEE THE LORD . Looking diligently lest any man FAIL of the GRACE OF GOD. lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you whereby MANY be defiled .
Be ye therefore followers OF GOD , as dear children and walk n love , as Christ has loved us and has given himself for us as an OFFERING and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. But fornication , and ALL uncleanliness , or covetousness , let it not be named ONCE among you as becomes saints Neither filthiness , nor foolish talking , nor jesting , which are not convienent , but rather giving of thanks , FOR THIS YOU KNOW that no whoremonger , nor unclean person , nor covetous man who is an idolator , has ANY inheritance in the Kingdom OF GOD . Yes , let no man deceive you with their vain empty words , its because OF THESE very things the wrath of GOD comes upon the children of disobedience .
Brethren if any of you do err from the truth , and one converts him, let him know that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way has saved asoul from death , and shall hide a muliitude of sins .
Beware many false prophets . When they speak great swelling words of vanity they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness , those who were CLEAN escaped from them who live IN ERROR While they promise them LIBERTY , they themselves are the servants of CORRUPTOIN . for of whom a man is overcome , of the same is he brought in bondage. FOR if AFTER they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the KNOWLEDGE of the LORD and SAVOIR , if they are entangled theirin and overcome the latter END is WORSE with them than the beginning . FOR it had been better for them NOT to have KNOWN the way of RIGHTEOUSNESS , than , AFTER they have KNOWN IT , to turn from the Holy commandment that was delivered unto them. IT HAPPENS .
Here is another warning too. YE therefore seeing YOU KNOW THESE THINGS before , BEWARE BEWARE , lest you also being led away with the ERROR of the wicked , FALL from your own steadfastness. NOW we see WHY GOD ALSO SO WARNED THE SEVEN CHURCHES REPENT OR ELSE .

Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? (Hebrews 2:1-3)
See that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject Him who warns from heaven. (Hebrews 12:25)
For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? (Hebrews 3:16-18)
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:11-13)
I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
...Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. (1 Corinthians 10:1-5, 11,12)
"Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent." (Revelation 2:5)
"Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of My God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent." (Revelaton 3:2,3)
Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:28-31)

Wonderful exhortations for our soul. To help remind us that our walk is one by which we should be giving all honor unto the One who saved us. It should never have become the attitude of many today, where its what has God done for me and that basically no matter how we walk we free . These reminders are of dire importance and thus let us be reminded that truly we should be doing all things which do Honor God . And to be found walking as we ought to and from thankful hearts to the one who Saved us , washed us clean . So let us throw them hands up in praise with thanksgiving TO the LORD .

I was surprised when I really studied the NT, just how much I speaks about the danger of drifting away. Jesus' comment in Matthew 24 stunned me. He who endures to the end shall be saved. In all my life even unto now, I don't think I've heard that verse in a sermon.

You spot on . I have often read that new testament and in so many places it talks about beware lest you too being led away with the error of the wicked fall from your own steadfastness. How often paul reminded too. peter and others . SISTER you loved. just wanted to let you know YOU LOVED. And you are correct , I don't hear this in any modern sermons anymore . Well, we here are gonna praise the LORD and keep on with all exhortations which include warnings , encouragments , praise to the Lord and many things which remind and stir us up. NOW throw them hands in the air sister , and PRAAZZZE oh yes PRAISE the LORD .

In all my life even unto now, I don't think I've heard that verse in a sermon. Anyone that says anything about having to endure will be smeared. It will be said they have a works based salvation, even though those accusations contradict scripture. There is a huge deception out there.

(See to it) that no one is...unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears. (Hebrews 12:16,17)
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save that he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16,17)
"If anyone worships the beast and its (or "his") image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of His anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its (or "his") image, and whoever receives the mark of its (or "his") name.
Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. (Revelation 14:9-12)
And he (Satan) said to Him (Jesus), "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For it is written, "'You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.'" (Matthew 4:9,10)
