Christians know on an intellectual level that God lives in them, and that their body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. They know that God is with them, and many say God leads them, but how many know that the Spirit of God has a voice and He speaks to us? The question is, are we listening? Do we take advantage of His wisdom in our daily lives? All day long, we are bombarded with voices from within and from without, but are we following the voice of God's Spirit? Do we even know how to hear Him?
Jesus speaking of the Holy Spirit said this in John 16:13. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
The Holy Spirit resides in us if we are saved. How many realize He has a voice, and if we will trust Him enough to ask Him questions and then listen, He will guide us into all truth? He is not just here so we can speak in tongues. The Spirit is a teacher and guide to Christians. I cannot tell you what a revelation that was for me. I had many questions that I could never get adequate answers to about doctrinal matters, and one day, I just decided to start asking the Spirit for answers by faith. You know what? I began to get answers, and I did not have to struggle for them in most cases. They were immediately imparted to me. I knew they were not just my mind speaking, because they were things that never occurred to me, or they were opposite of what I had believed. They are things I never would have gotten through just a line by line study, and never would have received following the pagan hermeneutics method. I got answers because I believed what Jesus said about the Spirit and started asking.
Here is what you need to beware of. The Holy Spirit is not the only one that speaks to us. Demons speak to us and our own mind speaks. If you are hearing a voice telling you to sin, that is not the Holy Spirit. Anything you get from the Spirit of God will agree with the Bible, but not necessarily what you have been taught to believe the Bible says. Some answers I have received shocked me because they went against what I believed and was taught. The answers are often outside the mainstream of Christian teaching, but they always agreed with the scriptures.
I want to challenge you today. Are there things in the Bible you are struggling to understand? Try asking the Spirit of God for answers instead of turning to commentaries and preachers. Ask the Spirit to guide you into the truth, and see what happens. It may just amaze you. The Spirit is not a fortune teller. He is not likely going to give you answers to the lottery numbers and things like that, but come expecting answers to sincere questions about the Bible, and I do not believe you will be disappointed.

And i bet the things that you had learned that were wrong , were coming from what you had learned in some churches . That is the simple truth . hermuntics is a sour joke gone wrong . And if we ever once paid attention to what it is they really are doing with their hermenutics YOU WOULD SEE REAL CLEARLY they are using it TO PROVE THEIR OWN TRADITION AS TRUTH . I SEE this with OSAS all the time . PETER was saying what HE Did and how simple he wrote it . YOU know the one about The HOG that was washed and returned to the mire etc . THEY then try and say NO ,it cant possibly mean those who beleived , YET PETER MADE IT CLEAR THEY DID . I MEAN The only way to be WASHED CLEAN , THAT WAS BY FAITH , that WAS by CHRIST . THEY DO this with romans as well . LOOK at the simplicty of the scripture itself . PAUL is talking about ONE TREE . HE says the UNBELIEVING JEWS WERE CAST OUT HE then says GOODNESS towards THEE , IF YOU CONTINUE IN HIS GOODNESS otherwise YOU too will be cast out . AND they too , if they continue not in unbelief can be grafted back in . ITS SO SIMPLE . NO ONE wants to be cast out of the tree . THE UNBELIEVING JEWS were not saved SO HOW on earth can it mean that if we get cast out , WE SOMEHOW STILL ARE . THEY CANT EVEN READ what it simply says . THEN turn around and try and holler exergies and hermes TO , TO PROVE OSAS . WHEN IN TRUTH it meant exactly what IT SAID > YE SHALL BE CAST OUT . THEY DO this with all the IFS . THEY say NO your exegiss is bad , your hermes is bad . WRONG they use that garbage to justify THEIR OWN TEACHING , NOT WHAT THE SCRIPS SAY, BUT THEIR OWN TEACHING . THEY do this all the time . YET miss the simple truth over and over and over again . THE last time i checked paul was not writing those letters in a code that only so called SCHOLARS WHO USE MENS METHODS could understand . HE WROTE IT TO BABE LIKE CHILDREN . IT WAS A SIMPLE MESSAGE . AND GOD inspired them . AND THUS IF WE HAVE THE SPIRIT , , THE SPIRIT alone can give the understanding TO WHAT IT INSPIRED . SINCE WHEN DO WE NEED the carnal wisdom of men such as hermes to grasp scripture . WHEN IN TRUTH the CARNAL MIND ITSELF cannot even RECIEVE the things of GOD . I SAY JUST READ THE BIBLE for ourselves and pray TO GOD to reveal as we need to know .

Beautiful testimony, brother...amen! How good is the Lord and so true to His word...."call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things that thou knowest not"....."if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives liberally without upbraiding and it will be given." Amen, thank you Jesus.
