The word Selah is found many times in the Book of Psalms. According to Strong's Concordance, it is a term of uncertain meaning that appears 74 times in the Book of Psalms and 3 times in the book of Habakkuk. Strongs defines selah as a pause, a musical interlude, or a meditative pause in the middle of a Psalm, perhaps to take a breath or to reflect on what has been said.
The exact meaning of Selah is still debated among Bible scholars, but it is generally understood to be a marker indicating a pause or break in the text, and it may also have had a musical function, indicating a change in tempo or melody.
