MY GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD:
There are times that I am ready to meet the Lord and finalize my journey. Then there are others times I fear to go; yet I cling to the promises of God and one in particular.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6 KJV)
Even when my failures succeed my successes; I must cling to what scripture declares. It’s called walking by faith and not my sight. In other words; by emotions, imagination, and false inspiration! Believing and taking God’s above the words, ways, and will of the flesh.
(6) Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(7) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
{8) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2nd Corinthians 5:6-8 KJV
Flesh and blood does not inherit the Kingdom of God; these bodies which are probationary and temporary are too sensual for the heavenly realm. Therefore this physical body is filled with drawbacks and disabilities; must adhere to the gospel through repentance and application of the gospel in order to be accepted into heaven.
Let us stand upon the promises that the cross of Christ affords us! Let us secure our heavenly home by being not only those that hear the word, but those that also do the word. Don’t allow the enemy to avert you through fear, unbelief, and doubt. Don’t allow the enemy to succumb you through temptation: it will devour you and make you subject to it. Be confident that when the enemy tries to overthrow it is because he is afraid of what God can accomplish through you. These are things we should ponder and apply then our faith is matured and our position is stabilized. Selah
