AGE OF DECEPTION
(33) Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
(34) Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:33-34 KJV
The heart is deceptive; it excuses those things that God doesn’t. The mind is a biological mechanism of electrical impulses that can generate emotions and affections which stand in opposition to reality. Once it has accepted a deception it is hard for truth to prevail without the influence of the Holy Spirit. Hence one is deemed right in their own mind.
Many have a pseudo-spiritual experience which is self manufactured or demonically imparted, whether it is self induced or demonically imposed these individuals accept it as a witness to justify their reasoning and become more anchored in a lie.
This happens in every facet of our earthly life. I have observed the words and actions of many today, who have been deceived but believe they’re okay, when in actuality they’re living in a blatant sin. This is the result of not getting close to the Lord to the point he can unveil and reveal the ugly truth, then overthrow it and dispose of it through his divine power.
Unfortunately compromises abound today. When discernment is lost, actions speak louder than words do. The Lord sees far deeper inside you than your words, He sees deep into the heart where ulterior motives are the foundation of the actions which are produced.
I have come to understand; I am a mere human being who without the mind of Christ portrayed through scripture and rebirth through the Spirit is flawed without hope. Yet, even with the new birth, I am striving and struggling to make my life one that is in accordance with the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
(23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
(24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
(25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(26) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. James 1:22-26 KJV
Righteousness exalts the nation that fears the Lord and practices the perfect law of liberty and brings the blessings of the Lord. Our only hope for restoration, renewal, and refreshing lies in a sweeping spiritual revival of repentance and obedience to the God of Creation.
A nation which has no heart for God, is often reflected in the people’s choices for leadership. When a king of sin or a queen of treachery are the people’s choice. Beware my brethren, that nation has lost its way before the King of Kings and has fallen into strong delusion. It has been said and I quote “ what is morally wrong cannot be politically right “. Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
