1 Chronicles 28:9 King James Version
9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
Isaiah 1:19-20 King James Version
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Rev 19:15 KJV
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Jeremiah 29:13 King James Version
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
as i said in another post... its not what we do... but IF we do it what God does in and thru us. The Book says its His good pleasure to give us the kingdom. God has given us free will. It speaks on this in Deuteronomy... behold i set before you life and death... therefore choose life... its all around chapter 30, before and after. God wants a genuine honest heart/relationship. even a heart and mind thats willing. we MUST CHOOSE to respond to follow after Him and His ways. and for many they never get this part, they only see God initiated it and its all Him, they do not want to believe/say that we have to choose because that places responsibility on our shoulders. but not works, as many claim. God does not force anyone to choose Him, He does not force anyone to live holy... but IF we chase it, He makes whats crooked straight... He makes a way, because He Is the way, the Truth, and The Life. in the garden of eden adam and eve had a choice... to or not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil... and God set before them death and life just as it says in Deuteronomy... there was two trees named in the garden, also the tree of life in addition to the fore mentioned tree. one tree was life... one was death. for a christian we face this choice every day all day. we have the choice to choose life or death. God is so so very good, the book says His lovingkindness is better than life itself. and when we take a step towards God He takes a step, sometimes two or three towards us. He is there. And He does care for us. Jesus came to give life, and life more abundantly. oh i feel it glowing in me right now! hallelujah! God is for us, and for our Good, but we must choose Him and Life, and He is our life... our life is even hidden in Him.
