1. Can a person fail of the grace of GOD .
2. Can the SPIRIT be quenched .
3. Can a man have been a partaker of the HOLY GHOST , and yet fall away .
Let us start with these three . Feel free to explain it in great depth . but remember if something we THINK is right and yet it is proved wrong by scripture . WE must be prepared to admit we were wrong .

Let us start with these three . Feel free to explain it in great depth . but remember if something we THINK is right and yet it is proved wrong by scripture . WE must be prepared to admit we were wrong . 1. See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled (Hebrews 12:15)This chapter is telling us to strengthen ourselves so that God's rigorous discipline doesn't break us and make us angry. 2. Quench not the Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:19)I have many thoughts on this, but I don't want to derail the thread too much on the first reply. 3. For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. (Hebrews 6:4-6)We cannot keep going back to the basics of dead works and silly arguments. If we're going to do this thing, we need to move ahead and get with it.

1) define grace... "charis"? Grace is unmerited favor to the unworthy. how can you fail that? perhaps fail to respond?
2)you opened that can of worms, didnt cha? i am going to keep it short and sweet the bible commands us not to quench the Spirit, so yes you can.
3)Yes. God does not control us like a robot. Ecc. 9:4

God does not control us like a robot. Ecc. 9:4 See how One and three Go together Cletus . You right , if any man fails of the grace of GOD , it simply means THEY FAILED , they refused to respond , they refused to follow the Spirit . Its why the apostels did warn us , you exhort one another daily , lest any man does become hardened through the deceitfulness of sin . Cletus has answered all three correctly . Be looking diligintely lest any man fail of the grace of GOD , lest any root of bitterness spring up and thereby many be defiled . Be LOOKING unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith . actually now that I look at it , All three go together . cause lust sure can choke the word right out of one . Its why By the Spirit we build the body up , each one looks out for the welfare of the other , for its He working in us those things pleasing in His sight . Cletus has answered correctly .

3. Can a man have been a partaker of the HOLY GHOST , and yet fall away .
Let us start with these three . Feel free to explain it in great depth . but remember if something we THINK is right and yet it is proved wrong by scripture .
WE must be prepared to admit we were wrong . 1. I would not recommend anyone to tempt God, hear and obey; by faith.
"He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" - Matthew 11:15
2. I would not recommend anyone to tempt God, keep away from sin, and stay as close to God as possible; by faith.
"But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience." - Luke 8:15
3. I would not recommend anyone to tempt God, keep away from lust of the flesh, walk by the Spirit; by faith.
"Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame." - 1 Corinthians 15:34
See how simple it is?!
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all." - Ecclesiastes 12:13
"Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments." - 1 John 2:3
"that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." - Romans 8:4
"But why do you call Me Lord, Lord..." - Luke 6:46
"Now the Lord is the Spirit..." - 2 Corinthians 3:17
"So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God." - Romans 8:8
"...the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like..." - Galatians 5:19-21
"...those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." - Galatians 5:21
"Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord..." - Matthew 7:22
"And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" - Matthew 7:23
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." - Romans 8:14
Blessings to you all in Jesus' name!

Answers are yes, yes, and yes. Because sin separates us from God....and the wages of sin is death. Sow to the flesh and reap from the flesh, so much rather sow to the Spirit and reap life. What is sin? ...it is the works of the flesh, that Letters posted above.
The word of God strengthens us to be able to resist sin and temptation, it gives us solid ground to stand on as we wage the good fight of faith against our flesh...when we see ourself in the mirror of the word.

AND HOW TRUE THIS IS . FOR what I say to one of us , I say to all of us , WE are the servants to WHOM we obey . We cannot holler JESUS and yet walk in darkness of sin . Sin as a huge issue in that early church . Seen as death itself . and yet always the apostels POINTED and reminded the saints , WHO IS ABLE TO KEEP THEM FROM FALLING and TO OBEY HIM and HE LEADS us not into error , NO THE FLESH DOES , do by the POWER OF CHRIST , OBEY THE UNCTIONS OF THE SPIRIT and you WILL NOT , as in WILL NOT fullfill the lusts of the flesh . You see, these general , yet specific right to the point TRUTH , was said right to the point for a reason . IT GIVES no way for confusion . RIGHT to the point . But of course these early men were . FOR THEY FOLLOWED JESUS . and if we read what HE said , IT LEAVES NO ROOM for doubt on HOW he saw sin and how IT pleased HIM NOT . Their is nothing like the pure unadulterated truth OF THE LORD , to wash away the confusion of men and their doctrines . RIGHT QUICK TOO . IF So be we have the SPIRIT . SISTER . you said it LIKE YA MEANT IT . WELL GOOD FOR YOU SISTER . cause we better all get a bit more serious , for delusion will only keep getting worse .

GOODNESS, even the last part was a refreshing to the soul . NOTICE our dear sister said , when we SEE ourSELF in the mirror of THE WORD . NOT in the mirror or lens of how the carnal see us BUT OF THE WORD . and the WORD leaveth no doubt . GOD, HIS WORD , His Words , His Spirit , THAT is what we must examine ourselves by , IN THAT MIRROR . not the mirror of mens doctrines of today . IN GODS HOLY MIRROR .

I was confused! I thought you wanted us to quote scripture. OH , I did . but if what one says LINES UP in full agreement with the scripture, well I had also said speak what you truly believe . Sister , a lot of folks have sat in churches and while some churches may not be as bad as others , ITS A TOUGH COOKIE to find a man WHO has remained ONLY IN and IN ONLY that bible and has not had some kind of sway of mens interpretation , rather than JUST the HOLY GHOST inspiration . ONE tough cookie sister . I KNOW , I searched for a church , for years sister , for years and years , and week upon week , upon week , was left in upmost sadness at the doctrine I heard getting taught . WE would be amazed at how far carnal thoughts have truly crept into churches , we would be amazed at just what some think is truth and being taught as truth IS really nothing but mens precepts and doctrines being taught as THOUGH they the DOCTRINE which comes FROM THE HOLY GOD , when its not . OH SISTER with both hands and my face in them , I WEEP and howl for what I see in the churches of men today . ITS NOT GOOD SISTER . ITS JUST NOT GOOD .

And I think the next time I hear anyone say lets agree to disagree, OH dear what will I do . I suppose I will wait on the HOLY GHOST and see what HE has me do . Cause this old dog is bone tired of the dung doctrines I have heard and keep a hearing from so many . GOT a new saying for all of us . WE GOING to agree , TO AGREE that SOUND DOCTRINE is the KEY and if we FOCUS on THE LORD , then we will have the right UNITY .

Let us all be encouraged . I mean IF WE LOVE the LORD , then we going to LOVE HIS PURE DOCTRINE and its what we are going to desire . And if we have THAT desire , then unity will automatically BE . IF we don't , then their can be no unity . Folks this is decades old , this deception they got going on , its just been in some churches , longer than others , BUT make no mistake , its in way more churches than most realize . But ol frienduff by the Grace of GOD and anyone else by the grace of GOD is going to be exposing it , by SOUND DOCTRINE , BY THE SPIRIT , BY the pure truth which ONLY GOD can give us , IN CHRIST JESUS . now on the count of three, I want empty chairs . as all jump up and praise the LORD .

And at the height of my searching for churches , I had this dream . and now more than ever understand it . In the dream I was digging and digging and digging and finally I came dug my way UP and into a room . On the news I remember hearing Obamas voice and utter destruction was going on . I quickly turned and said , WE have got to get into the wilderness , the church needs to flee into the wilderness. and a man approached , the only ONE who had heard my plea , as all others were simply going on as all was well. And he came up and I noticed his entire countenance changed and He simply spoke these words Right to me , THE CHURCH ALREADY IS IN THE WILDERNESS. YEAH, ponder on that for a bit . cause I BY GRACE KNOW what it means .

I mean I was the one who was a warning them folks , and they was all just going on as nothing was going on , as all was well. The dream was not about me just warning , IT WAS TO TELL ME SOMETHING , SOMETHING I NEEDED TO FULLY REALIZE and understand . THE CHURCH IS ALREADY IN THE WILDERNESS . ALREADY IN THE WILDERNESS . and here I was warning the church needs to flee to the wilderness. AND THE MAN SAID CLEARLY the church is ALREADY IN THE WILDERNESS . a clear understanding that ONE IS . and I bet , I just bet SISTER WATCHFUL ALREADY KNOWS what IT IS . I bet SHE DOES . and so do I . I would like her to respond to this . I just bet SHE already knows , she got that calling LONG AGO . LONG AGO . a hint , COME YE.....................and I will let anyone else who so desires FILL that blank in .

Frienduff...your dream reminds me of someone escaping, digging their way out....as in "come out of her my people"....by digging in the word of truth, as it were. The Jewish captives of Babylon escaping the deceptions of Babylon to return to Jerusalem, the pure truth. Digging UP into a room....well, it's an upward call and the word says in Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers (rooms), and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. That is in the context of the last days. And it reminds me of Jesus saying He would go and prepare a place for us.....how in His Father's house are many rooms.
Heb 13:12-14 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
Outside the camp....the tent of meeting where Moses met with the Lord....our rooms/prayer closet, which is where we meet with the Lord and are transformed, and receive His guidance, understanding, strength, and leading/instructions for our life.
