We just need to start again fresh in just that bible . Just that bible . And things will become clearer and clearer . I will try and watch this in a bit . Instead of learning from Lutherans , catholic , calvnists and etc , ALL WE NEED To do is start fresh in that bible . The more we read it , by HIS grace the clearer things will become .

Kinda wish they would warn everyone that rick warren and joel and piper and etc are false and stay away from them. Maybe they do later on . But that is one thing we must always do , if we ever mention a false ones name we have to mention they are false , so as none will ever even look in that direction .

Once in a while I seem to see signs that the Lord is still working to restore some to the true gospel. I have even heard some talking about the cross and denying self, so that might be hopeful for them, I hope so and certainly would like to think so.
At the same time we need to be wise and discerning....some of that might be deceptive too, a ploy of the enemy, so it doesn't mean we should go running back to the churches. I had a dream a couple of days ago just before waking, warning of those among the believers who seem to be Christians but are not. The scripture that was given was Micah 7:5 "Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom." It doesn't mean we are to walk around in an attitude of suspicion, but it means to stay close to the Lord, keeping our eyes/ears on the Lord, to be guided by Him.
I went into a dollar store a few weeks ago, there was nobody in the store but me and the proprietor who I took to be Muslim after greeting him and exchanging a few words. I hadn't been in that store before so I walked around to see what items they had...after a minute or so the proprietor put on some Christian music. At first I thought oh, maybe he is a Christian, except that he had seemed abrupt in his manner when I came into the store, I didn't discern that he was a Christian, he seemed Muslim. After another couple of minutes he changed the music to secular, and then again he put on Christian music, and it seemed odd. Anyhow I had this feeling that something wasn't right with this man, so I didn't let on that I was a believer or start conversing with him beyond the realm of politeness. I was courteous and made a small purchase, and then left the store. I didn't feel led to witness to him and what he was doing with the music didn't seem right, as well as his mannerism. But this incident came to my mind as soon as I woke up after that dream...and I didn't even understand the dream right away, the connection wasn't immediately apparent. So we need to remain careful and discerning and be led by the Lord....these are such deceptive times.

To me, what might make a man behave like that was not wanting to be perceived as a Muslim more than anything. He had the appearance of a Muslim, and knew they were not well received in America because of the acts of terrorism, so to show you he wasn't Muslim, he put on Christian music. Then, he likely was afraid of how that might be perceived to someone who might not be a believer, so he returned to secular music. Then he decided that he would put it back on the Christian station and hope you weren't a Madeline O'Hare type. It seems to me like he was bothered about how he might be perceived to the point he couldn't be himself. It doesn't come across like he was trying to deceive you into thinking he was Christian when he was not, so much as he didn't want to be associated with Islam.

Or he was showing that he was familiar with Christianity so watchful would be less inclined to evangelize... not that we have to evangelize in every conversation. Either way, someone acting like that is probably not open to evangelism.
I’m not rushing back into the church system just because one pastor had an epiphany. I only found this testimony interesting to show how he was recruited to Calvinism and how he got away from it.

It could be brother........my discernment was that he was Muslim though, from before he put on any music at all. I have talked to Muslims before, as well as believing former Muslims. And it was linked to the dream. Still, this isn't an exact science. Although the Lord is warning to be careful, of that I am completely sure. I'll share the dream in case anyone has any more insight from it, it was a bit strange...
I was in a parking lot with a lot of cars and people walking around...next thing a woman came up to me, friendly and pleasant, and I forget if she said or just seemed like she was a Christian. She was pushing what looked like a shopping cart or baby buggy and parked it there. Somehow the cart/buggy was moving around and kept getting in the way of the cars and the people who were walking. Next, I was holding this thing in my hand, the power pack from the cart/buggy, and somehow I knew that me and the people I was with were under surveillance through this power pack thing...we were being spied on...it seemed to be a digital device of some kind, about the size of a cell-phone but boxier in shape. The next thing I knew it was plugged into the wall, and when I tried to pull it out it wouldn't budge, as though it had rooted itself in the electrical outlet. It seems like a contradiction, but the next scene was that I put that thing in the fridge/freezer and shut the door, and the people I was with were glad. I believe the idea conveyed with that is that we put it away from us. At first nothing made sense, it seemed like a 'pizza dream'to be forgotten, but then for some reason I thought of that store with the Muslim man. And then later the Lord gave me that scripture, so then I knew as sure as I could be that the dream was a warning from the Lord.
I will add that from my understanding, in dreams...vehicles often represent ministry...and I believe the people walking represents believers and their walk with the Lord. The whole parking lot I believe represented the church as a whole.

Just that for some reason it seemed timely and appropriate to share the warning here. I'm not speaking regarding that man in the video in particular...but it might be that in general parts of the church are going to seem to change for the better in order to entice 'wilderness believers' to go back. To me it's like a burning building...we are not to run back into it. (unless the Lord leads us to, for His purposes)

I was just giving thoughts regarding that dream, not an interpretation. Go with what was revealed to you. If we take the two dreams together, it sounds like the enemy is sending out spies, disguised as Christians, to feel us out. That has been going on for a while. Among our members, I think we have some, as I know they have a presence wherever Christians are found. WCF has them too.

This is what occurred to me based on my understanding of dreams... you saw people on various walks/journeys who had congregated at a gathering place (either the church or the corporate body). The woman you saw wasn’t on a journey. She wasn’t passing through. She loitered in that spot with her own agenda to monitor everyone coming and going. She had no vehicle driving her; she was “pushing” a small vehicle of her own. It kept disrupting those who passed through. She had been given some sort of power or energy to complete her spy assignment. You took it from her. It ran back to its source to try to keep itself going. The original source was bigger and stronger than the woman. To keep it away from its source, you put it in a freezer to starve it.

Amen. (and just to clarify....the dollar store and muslim man actually happened in real life a few weeks ago, it wasn't a dream...I should have been more clear.)

This Pastor left pure Calvinism, but I don't know if he joined it's perverted cousin OSAS. An Independent Baptist persuaded him we have a choice to accept or reject Christ. Most Independent Baptists hold to the OSAS heresy. Still, I found his thought process interesting. I could relate to much of it.

One thing this guy said that I totally relate to is how people will have their favorite scriptures to defend their position, while ignoring those that go against it. If you can't reconcile them, you really don't know what you are talking about. They have to match up.
I have debated this topic for years, and I had my favorite scriptures to prove OSAS was a lie, and the other side had theirs too. If we did give a response to what the other person said, it was half hearted and very weak. If that is the best you can do, you need to keep seeking. I sought God till I got the answer, and that was ultimately what led to my being forced out of WCF. They didn't want the truth.

I don't know anything about the man or his ministry but in the video he comes across as quite intellectual. I think Calvinists don't really go with the Spirit and neither do Baptists....and we all need the Holy Spirit all the more these days. Anyway, I'm glad he's leaning more in the right direction. Christianity is "on-the-job-training" for everyone....it takes time to grow and learn, sort out the error from the truth, etc. The Lord is faithful, and we hope for the best for this pastor, that he won't get caught in the general falling away.
